The next day Ann wakes up and immediately takes the pill, desperate to relive the feelings she had the day before. Soon after she notices how lucky she has it. She notices how good and how easy she has it. She feels a warmth fill her body. An emotional one. Ann walks into the living room and she realizes how good she has it when the tv turns on right when she walks into the room - automatically switching to her favorite show. Then in the kitchen the coffee machine starts making coffee without her even needing to lift a finger. Soon she realizes, after walking around her house for a while, that it's empty. It's just her. No husband, no kids, no pets, no friends, just her and her technology. The best day Ann had, was the best because she was with him. Ian.
