They all arrived at their local drug store. The store was empty, or so they all thought.
She looks down each aisle and - no one - until she reaches the medicine aisle. There were people walking up and down the aisle. Their hands were empty. She leaves empty handed too. Knowing that she would be unable to sleep without getting her hands on this drug, she drives to the nearest drug store.
He takes no time to get to the medicine aisle. Surprisingly, there weren't many people there. As he was looking through the shelves, he notices a part of the shelf was empty. No. It can't be all gone. He pushes the near medicine out of the way.
Nothing.
He jogs to the other side and pushes those medicine away. Yes! There was one bottle left. Thankfully those people who left empty handed, didn't notice that one hidden bottle.
As he's leaving the store, a woman bumps into him.
"Sorry," she says and continues to walk. "Wait!" He turns around, on the inside his body shakes, waiting for this woman to ask whatever she wants to ask so he could get home.
She gets to the drug store, and as she's entering the store, she bumps into a guy, who appeared to be holding a small bag.
"Sorry," she says quickly and gets back to looking for the medicine aisle. "Wait!" She said remembering the small bag. "Do you know where the medicine aisle is?" He says aisle four and she rushes to get there. She gets to the aisle and starts looking for the drug then she notices that the guy is back.
"Are you looking for the new drug?" He asks hesitantly. "There isn't any left." He says causing her mind to switch from excitement, to sadness, to anger. "But... I have the last one. I could... I could give you a few pills." He says, unknowing of if he regrets it or feels good when he noticed her face light up.
"Could you?" She says as a smile slowly grows on her face. He gives her a few pills. She immediately takes one. He now knows that he doesn't regret it after seeing how happy she was to get only three pills. He takes one too. Soon after they end up at the park together.
