its been a week since taeyong and seohyun have texted eachother. while taeyong was worried seohyun was having fun with yuta and his family. taeyong felt useless and lonely without his best friend making him happy he was nothing.
but neither did taeyong want to text seohyun. he would feel guilty for some reason.
but he didn't know why. but since taeyong didn't have anything else to do he went to the bar usually and drank. getting drunk was the only thing that seemed to work.
just to keep his mind off seohyun.

but one drunk night taeyong drunkly called seohyun.

incoming call from 'taeyong'
[ accept or decline ]

SEOHYUN:
"hello?"
TAEYONG:
"seohyunie why aren't you toking to mer latelyyy."
SEOHYUN:
"um taeyong are you okay?"
TAEYONG:
"nooooooooo, not since you *hiccup* lefty meh for that luser."
SEOHYUN:
"taeyong? where are you? are you with any of your friends right now?"
TAEYONG:
"why you asky? you no cares about me."
SEOHYUN:
"im coming to pick you up, stay where you are."
TAEYONG:
"me will staying then. just hurrying they might hurt me."
SEOHYUN:
"t-taeyong im coming please stay safe."

ending the call seohyun tells yuta that she will be gone for a bit. with yuta nodding she runs out of the house and into her car. talking to herself while driving.
"ugh stupid taeyong, why are you doing this. you make me worry so much for you and you don't even know it, i thought you were over drinking a year ago. because of you im like this. i love you very much but. i guess i shouldn't show it." she sighs. arriving at the bar taeyong usually goes to. parking the car she runs into the bar.
looking all over the place she tries to find him. making it harder cause of the flashing lights everywhere. searching through the crowd she thought it was no use.

walking out of the noisy building she stands there. hopeless. she didn't know why but she was worried sick. she hopes that she will find her best friend. looking sround the building she sees some guys walking away from this corner. letting them pass by she goes to the corner. and there sat a beaten up taeyong.

running over to taeyong she saw blood everywhere. she felt herself tear up.
"taeyong?! nonono please don't taeyong please." shaking him and trying to wake him up nothing was working. she checked if he still had a palse. "you're still alive, c'mon taeyong stay strong." calling the police she explains everything. minutes later the police come with an ambulance. she felt sorry for taeyong. not being there earlier. she was still crying. getting in the ambulance with taeyong on the stretcher.

holding onto his hand and still holding on to the string of hope. hoping that he'll wake up. hoping that her best friend would wake up and talk to her again. her hopes were high. but chances were low. just sitting in there. staring at him. hoping that he would also be still holding onto that string. seohyun couldn't help but cry and cry just for her best friend.
she felt like it was her fault.
her fault for everything.
her fault for letting him go.
her fault for forgetting him.
her fault for not being by his side.
she didn't feel like taeyongs friend anymore. she felt like a stranger to taeyong. a stranger that found him beaten up.

she knew that he would let go.

let go of the thin string that they held.
