At the moment I was sitting in the room Kakashi had given me, waiting for said pervert to return from where ever he had went. He had left his ninja hound, Pakkun, to watch me while he was gone. It was like being a prisoner, except without being locked in a room with bars. But the room still reminded of a cell, and that made me restless. I felt like I could fly out of my skin at any moment I was so restless, and I’m sure that Pakkun thought I was going crazy since I was pacing around the room like a caged animal.

I wanted to go outside, but hadn’t for the fact that I was still practically naked. Clutching Kakashi’s traveling cloak with my bare hands, I debated with myself about leaving this room and going outside. I didn’t know anything about this place and how things were run around here, and that didn’t help my restlessness either.

After so long I couldn’t take it anymore, so I finally opened the bedroom window and jumped outside. My body twisted easily in the air allowing me to land on my feet, before I wandered around the yard taking in everything. Kakashi lived along Konoha’s borders, leaving him with practically no neighbors and having the forest inching into his yard.  The movement of the air and the smell of the forest soothed my restless nerves. I was similar to a wild animal, I hated being caged and being outside gave me a sense of freedom.

The wind whipped my long raven hair around my head, mixing leaves that were floating along into my hair. The brilliant blue sky was a blue I never got to see and it seemed almost close enough to touch. Eager to touch what was physically impossible to touch, I climbed the highest tree I could find. At the top, I reached out for the sky that was always just out of reach.

“Habata itara modoranai to ittte,Mezashita no wa aoi aoi ano sora,” the words spilling out of my mouth as I stared sullenly up at what I could never reach. ““Kanashimi” wa mada oboerarezu,“Setsunasa” wa ima tsukami hajimeta,Anata e to daku kono kanjou mo,Ima “kotoba” ni kawatte iku,Michi naru sekai no yume kara mezamete,Kono hane wo hiroge tobitatsu.”

Down below I heard Kakashi’s relaxed voice drift up to me. “Where did you say she was, Pakkun?”

“The kids up there,” Pakkun replied.

I wasn’t interested enough to go down there, so Kakashi wouldn’t have search for me. The bright blue sky was calling to me and I was much more obliged to listen to its callings then Kakashi’s. Maybe someday I’ll be able to reach that wonderful sky and if I ever do I’ll never come back.

“Hey, Raikou, come down here,” Kakashi called up to me.

Sighing deeply, I jumped down from the tree. The cloak billowing around me as my body raced towards the ground at a dangerous speed, but on the way down I gripped a branch that I used to slow my descent. Dropping from the branch, I hit the ground with a soft thump in front of Kakashi. Pulling myself out of my crouched position, I stood to look Kakashi in the eye the best that I could.

“You called?” I could hear the formality in my voice, but couldn’t stop it from coming through.

“No need to be formal Raikou,” Kakashi said, before thrusting a bag into my face with a light pink peeking up above his mask.

I grabbed the bag curiously, before asking, “What’s in it?”

“Just some clothes,” he said averting his eyes, “Seeing as you need them.”
