This was the first time she was raiding an actual Hydra base. She was nonetheless nervous. The last time she was inside a Hydra facility, she lost... him. It hurt her to think of what they did to him. Whether he was killed or willingly turned, she was fearful of either. The bus she was on finally stopped, and she exited. She looked at the facility.

A shame it will go up in smoke soon. She thought

She set off with her new partner, a tall, brown hair, blue eyed man, Caesar Mackson. They saw the main command center and snuck in.

"This is the data hub," he said, "plug it in, Sabine. Maybe we can figure out where he is."

Sabine plugged in the USB drive, which was shaped mostly like a Hydra symbol, and got an approximated time reading on how long it would take to download Hydra personell. 20 minutes. She set her watch and they snuck out of the room. Over the next nineteen minutes, they were setting charges on every support structure and wall that was in the command center. They returned to the data hub right when the USB flashed red to indicate that it had downloaded everything. They took it out and, after sneaking well away from the command center, let the explosives loose. The command center went up in a ball of fire.

They made their quick escape, and returned to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Resistance base. Sabine eagerly plugged in the drive, and waited. Because Hydra monitered everything, she wasn't surprised when she saw that the data transfer would take ten minutes to complete. As she waited, her mind went back to the day she lost him.

She didn't remember much, but she knew they were onboard a super jet. They had almost succeeded in hijacking it, when an explosion knocked her out cold. She woke up inside a cargo pod buried deep within the arctic. Luckily, she was able to make it back to the surface and signal for help.

Snapping out of the flashback, she saw that there were still 3 minutes left on the transfer. She pulled out her phone to replay the recording she had gotten out of a security camera placed inside the pod.

She watched the same part over and over again, so as not to forget him. Him setting her down gently onto the cargo pod's floor. His words, which always made her tear up: I promise I will find you. No matter what may happen to me.

She closed her eyes, and relished her memories with him. Ezra Bridger. Their first meeting at the underground S.H.I.E.L.D. academy, their first date, and their last mission.

A chime brought her out of the trance. The transfer was complete. She eagerly opened it up. She saw that there were at least 30 different files on the drive itself, so she figured she had better type into the search bar his name.

There were several results including a 42 year old man, a three month old child, and a recently deceased potential inhuman. She had almost given up hope, when she found the last Ezra Bridger. She opened his profile.

Ezra Bridger.

Son of Mira and Ephraim Bridger.

Living at 1313 Corusca Lane, appartment 2187.

That was him.
