We had swimming during gym class, and I used this as a medium to keep me sane.
I let out every single negative feeling I felt through every stroke and every kick of the feet. I felt secure in the water and I held on to this to keep me grounded for the rest of the day. It was calming to see how the ripples danced delicately on my skin, the surface of the water never broken with its perfect and whole appearance. I wanted to feel like that, and in a way, I was.
