Your POV
I was in my room with Lucien and Earnest. I was at my sketch table and Lucien was on the floor and Earnest was on my bed. Lucien was listening to the Metallica I had playing and Earnest had his own earbuds in. I think he was listening to Hollywood Undead. The sketch I had was of a bundle of black roses.
I had my black charcoal pencil and white chalk and shader for tools. I was getting charcoal all over my hands and had to go wash them so I wouldn't get anymore on the white parts of the picture. I came back to Earnest and Lucien looking at it. Lucien turned around and smiled at me.
"Nice picture (y/n)." he said. I smiled and thanked him with a small blush.
Earnest turned around and scoffed. "Nice picture? It's terrible." he said.
I rose a brow. He normally likes my drawings. "I'm going to go. Somewhere else." Lucien said and left the room.
"How's it terrible?" I asked.
He looked at me. "It's all smudged." he said.
"Earnest. You know it isn't done yet. I have to clean up the edges and sign it still." I said.
He rolled his eyes. "Still will look terrible."
I looked at him as he sat on the bed. He put his headphones back into his ears and went back to listening to his music. I sat back at my desk with a small frown as I looked at the drawing. This had taken me hours. Lucien likes it but then again his father is Damien.
I sighed as I continued to work on the drawing. I liked it. I thought it was pretty cool. I felt accomplished. But Earnest apparently didn't. I began to clean up the edges and what not to make the white parts a crisp white and not a faded grey color from the charcoal.
I sighed lightly and earned the attention of Earnest Vega. He sat up a bit and took one headphone out. I ignored his questions "Are you okay, (y/n)?" he asked.
I focused on my drawing. Until he got up and poked me. I looked at him and sighed. He rose a brow. "Are you all right?" he asked.
No as a matter of fact I was not all right. One of the boys that I have known since I moved here was telling me that he hated my drawing. When we were younger he thought they were great. So I guess people change.
I looked at him and sighed. "You were the one that decided not to like my drawing, even though you did every time i drew something when we were younger. So now why the sudden change of heart?" I asked crossing my arms.
He looked down and sat on the edge of my bed before sighing. "I-I'm sorry." he said. My hard gaze softened and he stood up and hugged me. I hugged back and sighed.
"Why didn't you like it?" I asked as I was upset and confused.
"I was jealous of it. You always make outstanding drawings. I never have been able to. I've tried to learn. I would always get frustrated that I couldn't do what you did and stopped." he said as he held me tighter.
I was the one that needed to be comforted now it was his turn. "Earnest. You can't get better if you just give up. It takes time to learn how to draw. I've been drawing since about the 4th grade. I've had time. You can learn too. Hell you may even be better than me." I said.
He nodded into my shoulder and he pulled away. I looked at him for a second. He gazed back. "I-I'm still sorry though. I feel bad for making you upset." He said. I smiled and him and he blushed lightly. I kissed his cheek. "Don't worry about it. If you want i'll give you drawing lessons."His blush was deeper than before and he nodded. Lucien came back in and looked at us. "What did i miss?"
I know it's more on the shorter side. This was one of the harder stories to write. But I got it! Are you proud of me guys >u<. Well thanks for reading. See ya later~!
