"Oh my god....are you ok?" Amy managed to say, in between fits of giggles. She bent down and untied my laces, still laughing.
I was lying back, propping myself up with my arms, just staring at her as she focused on undoing them.
I smiled and she looked up, smiling back.
"I'm done! You can stand up now." She said brightly, getting up herself.
I stretched and got up, that was so embarrassing, I'm such an idiot.
She probably thinks I'm a loser, a geek, a disaster.
"I meant to do that." I grinned and winked, but inside I was crying in embarrassment.
"I know that. That was smooth." She giggled, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"So, seen as we may be here a while, why don't we get to know each other?" I smiled and pulled her hand, leading her towards the wall.
We both jumped up and sat on the wall, swinging our legs.
"At least you made it without falling this time." She joked with me.
"Yeah..." I chuckled feeling self conscious. " So Amy tell me about yourself.."
"What do you want to know?" She asked turning towards me, putting her hand up to shield the sun from her eyes.
"Erm...well firstly are you single?" I said pulling a cheeky grin.
She laughed, blushing cutely.
"I am currently."
"Interesting...." I smirked, I was using the dimples, the dimples always work...
Well almost always.
"Anyway what's your name? I mean I know it's Brad but your last name." Amy mumbled, shying away from me slightly.
"My names Brad Simpson, I'm from Birmingham, I'm in a band..." I started.
"Wait wait wait... A band?" She looked up excitedly.
I knew it. Girls dig guys in bands. Score!
But did I really want her only liking me because of the whole 'The Vamps' thing?
I wanted her to like me for me.
"Yeah I'm the lead in a band called The Vamps...?" I said in a sort of question tone, I was unsure whether or not I should of told her.
"Oh cool I think my sister has talked about you guys before. Sorry though I haven't really heard of you or listened to your music."
I was relieved to be honest.
"That's totally normal. We've just started out so not many people have. Just why were you so excited when you heard I'm in a band?" I asked.
I really needed to know the answer, I mean was she just going to use me now.
Did she want fame, fortune.
Did I only appeal because of the band thing?
"Oh because I thought you were like a tiny unknown garage band that don't do gigs and stuff, I was going to ask if you would trial my mate Griffin for a place.....but if you're as big as you sound I doubt you need more members!"
She laughed and her hair blew back in the breeze, she looked windswept like in the films... not like in a blizzard where your hair suffocates you.
"You're really pretty." I muttered without thinking.
"You're not to bad yourself hotshot!" She giggled.
I realised something.
I've spent all my time focused on this girl I nearly forgot.
I have no memory of the night before.
I don't know how I got here.
How can I rewind back in time to remember events I've blacked out.
Maybe she can help.
