Bad Mood

Ying Kong Shi was in a bad mood. He doesn't know why but he's ticked off. He kept on exploding things. He thought that hanging out with his brother would help so went to spend some time with him. It did for a while but when Li Luo came and he became the third wheel. He felt his temper rising again.

Everywhere he went there was a couple. His eye twitched. What was today anyway? Even his mom and the fire king seemed cozy with one another. He needed to get away from the palace.

So here he was, now, sitting alone under the cherry blossom trees. Letting the gentle breeze, calm his mind. It was such a good day so he doesn't understand why he was really pissed off. He sighed, closing his eyes.

"Ying Kong Shi!" a sweet voice called out to him. He didn't acknowledge her but he let out a small smile. Yan Da, he thought. Anger suddenly forgotten.

"Ying Kong Shi," Yan Da called out again, only she's closer to him now. "are you sleeping?"

Getting no answer, she sighed and settled herself beside him. "And here I was excited to see you. Did you miss me? Who am I kidding? You probably didn't notice that I was gone right?"

Noticing the dark circles in his eyes, Yan Da slowly traced them. "Why are there dark circles around your eyes? Have you not been sleeping well? I guess, I have to let you rest then." She said about to get up when a hand grabbed her.

"Stay." Shi told her. He then let his head rest on her lap.

Smiling, Yan Da ran her fingers through his hair. "Okay." She whispered, hearing that Shi's breathing even out and fell asleep.

Later, at the Ice Palace...

"Hello, Ge and Li Luo," Shi said after he spotted the two. "Sorry for my behavior a while ago. I just didn't get enough sleep lately. Well then see you two later!"

Ka Suo let out a relieved smile. "It's good that Shi was smiling again. He was in really bad mood the past few days."

Li Luo laughed. "I heard that a certain fire princess is back. Maybe, it's because of that?"

Ka Suo just looked at Li Luo confused. Li Luo shook her head. "My dear Ka Suo you're really oblivious."

 Seeing that Ka Suo was still confuse, she continued. "Prince Shi was missing Princess Yan Da that's why he was in bad mood the past few days."

Ka Suo's eyes widened in realization. He grinned. I guess my little brother was all grown up.
