The boys that chase, she never wants to face.

The one who doesn't show affection, has all her attention,

The late nights filled with no sleep, overthinking and tears, are the nights she never thought she'd have to fear.

She craves him all the time, the feel of his touch. His smile. His eyes. His laugh. His voice. His lips.

A moment he doesn't cross her mind is just as rare as an eclipse.

The blame doesn't stop, the stupid regrets don't halt.

Seeing him makes her stomach do somersaults.

They all wonder and whisper but she couldn't care less about the chatter.

But every time she sees him, she feels her heart shatter.

(a/n: so i fell in love awhile back and it's a long messy story and this poem came after i was finally done with him and on my way to getting over him, yikes.)
