(authors note: hey so if like anyone wants to read this and either comment or message me a title for it that'd be very much appreciated because i literally have no clue what to call this one; And if anyone would like to also comment or message me boys and girls names that would suit to use as names for a "couple" in a story I'm working on!)

The void that cannot ever become filled again, lies in the catacombs of my broken heart.

The feeling is like nothing I've ever encountered, it is as if my heart is being ripped out and put back in place like nothing ever happened over and over again every time it dawns on me.

If you do not understand, you're a small part of the lucky ones, not many are so lucky, but if you are, congratulations, your heart is still intact for now.

It seems as though nothing will ever be able to mend the bits and pieces of your not physically but emotionally broken organ together although you're still breathing, you are not truly living, until they come along.

They have no intention of fixing you, they don't even have the slightest clue you need to be fixed until they're up with you on those late nights, when it feels as if the oxygen has been drained from your body and you're drowning and struggling to come up for air, but they make the water evaporate altogether.

Until they see you at your wits end, broken down in agony, trying to understand the world and its ways. Until they feel the pang in your chest just as much as you do because they ache when you ache.

That is when you have realized, you didn't need the surgeons and doctors and specialists to try and mend the bits and pieces of your emotionally but not physically broken organ back together because you have now become conscious of the fact that you only needed a bandage.

They might hurt you as well, but just as easily they will love you, they will be able to fill a small ounce of that empty void and that is all you will need to feel like you are not just breathing anymore. That you are in fact truly living.

(a/n: so i usually stick to rhyming poetry, I've never written this sort of poem but i got inspired and started typing and couldn't stop until it was done, but i think this is actually my favorite one so far!)
