I closed my eyes, ready for the impact of the bullet in my body. Ready to be reunited with my family.

My family that doesn't include my baby sister.

I clenched my fists.

"I-I thought you were going to leave me alone and fly up, j-just like mommy, daddy and Adam did."

I promised to not leave her.

But I never got to run. I never got to crouch or scream her name. I never got to hold Zoe one last time. Because everything was as silent as death.

I opened my eyes and found that the window looked the same, no shards broken.

I looked down at myself. Not harmed.

Maybe the bullet came through the wall.

As my eyes scanned the room, even the walls were alright. Zoella was still fast asleep and Charlie was curled under her feet. It was like nothing happened.

Nothing did happen.

I took a few steps towards the window. No figure. No nothing.

The neighborhood looked undisturbed.

There was no way everything that just happened was just in my head, It looked so real. It felt so real. I heard a gunshot going off, how could I have created all of that in my mind?

My heart was pounding faster by the second but as I looked at the window and noticed the reflection plastered on it, the pounding in my heart began to slow down, like my heart has gone still, and the blood in my veins went cold.

I didn't know how did my body turn around because I felt numb. There were two people standing just by the door of the room, alongside. A man and a woman.

My eyes first landed on the man. He had sandy brown hair that was ruffled, blue eyes that were staring back at the same colored eyes that belonged to me. His face was as pale as a sheet, making his eyes stand out. Lips chapped and wide open.

My eyes trailed to his body. It was covered by a red shirt and a pair of blue jeans.

No, not a red shirt. A white shirt that was covered with red stains. Red blood stains. There was a whole just below his heart where a bullet was present, cutting his skin open. The bow dropped from my grip and I almost tripped on my feet when I took a few steps back.

The woman was more presentable than the man but looked as pale and as broken. Her blonde hair was tied in a ponytail. The blue eyes, that were lighter than the man's, shone with pain. Her face was blotched and swollen from crying, black bags rested beneath her eyes. A baby blue oversized sweatshirt and black jeans was what she wore. The sweatshirt made her look so tiny and small, but the blood that covered the sweatshirt ruined it all.

I felt the bile of the non-existent food rise up to my throat. The hair on my entire body bristled as if called to attention.

They both took a step towards me.

"You did this to us," the man said, "Why do you look so sick? This is all your cause."

"I'm sorry."

"You were enjoying your time in a carnival while we were getting killed!" the woman sobbed as they both started shortening the distance between us.

"I didn't know, I-"

"We are all six feet underground whilst you are still living your life, being irresponsible with your sister, abandoning all kind of promises you made." her small, tiny, broken voice turned into a shrilling, raucous voice that made me flinch.
