chapter 15

Ashton

He's gone. He's really gone. It's been 2 months since he left, but I'm still not over it. I'm still not used to not being with him when we have breakfast every morning, not having our cute mini dates every now and then. My mind then goes to our first date. At the aquarium. Luke admired the fish. He seemed so happy there. And now he is separated from the place that made him so happy. That made my heart ache. Thinking that one place, that made him happy, was taken away. I couldn't take this. I either had to get him to come back, or go there on my own and get him. I can't leave him, knowing that he is missing things that make him happy.

I heard barks downstairs and I saw Molly.

"Sorry girl, I forgot to feed you," I said as I poured some food into her bowl and some water i n the other.

Seeing Molly reminded me of Luke. She was another thing that Luke could be missing.. I silently paced the kitchen until it struck me. I ran into my bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I then pointed to myself and started to tremble.

"You. You, Ashton Irwin, are another thing he could be missing. He loved you just as much as you loved him. He probably misses you just as much as you miss him," I cried.

That made me feel as if I needed to see him. Luke was the only thing that helped me through life's curveballs. I knew that deep down, I wouldn't be able to see him for a while. But all I focused on was that I had to see him as soon as possible. I thought if I could get the other boys in on it. I rang up Calum.

"Hey Ash," he said happily.

"Hey Cal. I know you'll think I'm insane,but, I wanna go see Luke in America," I stated.

"You're right. I do think you're crazy. But I also think that it's a fantastic idea and that we should do it! I know how much you two care for each other and I have never seen a bond stronger between two people."

"Thanks Cal. Do you and Mikey wanna come?" I asked.

"I don't wanna interfere Ash," he whined.

"What if something bad happens?"

"Like," he stepped forward.

"What if I get there and Luke is with another guy? What if he sees me and doesn't like me anymore? What will I do then Cal?" I couldn't stand the thought of it, but it was all I could think off at the time.

Calum walked over to me and pulled me into a comforting embrace, "He loves you. And you know that. Don't ever say he doesn't love you."

My tears soaked into his shirt, "Can you two come just in case?"

He nodded and pulled out his phone. I watched as his thumbs began to move. He then swiftly placed it in his pocket.

"I just texted Michael."

I muttered a "thanks" and walked upstairs and took a shower.

As I entered, I immediately connected my phone to the speaker and started playing music. I turned the shower on and peeled off my Joy Division tank top and removed my trousers. The warm water cascaded down my back and I felt sensational. I thought about what I would do when I got to America. Would I go see Luke first thing? I think we should find a place to stay first. Maybe do a quick visit to Luke or something. I wasn't sure. I'll probably talk to Calum and Micahel.

I lost track of time and realized that I had been in the shower for 45 minutes.

 I opened the shower door and the entire room filled with steam.

"This air is too moist I hate it," I said fairly loud.

"Ew! Ash you know I hate that word!" Calum exclaimed.

I chuckled and walked out of the steamy room. The cold air instantly hit my body and I was freezing.

"So, when do you plan on going to America Ashton?" Calum asked.

"Well maybe sometime this weekend or something," I stated. I then walked away and to my room and just sat on the bed. My hair, still wet, caused streams of water to flow down my neck and face. I decided that I didn't want to get a cold before we go to America, so I got dressed as quickly as possible.

I threw on my gray sweatpants and my Weekend Warrior tank top. I didn't feel like interacting as much with anyone today really. I just needed to nap or something. 

"Calum! I'm gonna take a nap and hang out in my room!" I called.

"Okay, I'll wake you when Michael gets here. That won't be for a while though," He replied.

I just nodded and entered my room. I sat on the edge of my bed. I saw the bracelet that Luke got me. I smiled and put it on my wrist. I decided that it would be a good idea to sleep. I fell asleep with the bracelet that said "I LOVE YOU -LUKE"
