Saraph's P.O.V.

I woke up today feeling dread. Which usually means something bad is gonna happen. Either today or in the next few days.

I was still in my pajamas when I went down stairs to start making breakfast for the boys. I had my was finishing the last pancakes when they came stampeding into the kitchen.

"YES SARAPH CAKES!" Niall yelled.

The other boys ran to their seats and started piling pancakes on their plates.

They were all eating so I decided to bring up my problem.

"Hey guys when I got up I had a feeling of dread." I told them.

"What does that mean?" Louis asked.

"Something bad is gonna happen. But I have to go hunting soon. So I won't be here to protect you if it's bad. But I don't thinks it's life threatening cause then I would feel absolute devastation." I said.

"Where will you be?" Harry asked me.

"I won't be going far. I hunt animals so I'll be in the forest behind the house, and I'll be close enough to get back here if there is danger." I said taking a sip of orange juice.

They nodded and Liam spoke up "thanks for telling us. And you really do need to hunt. It's amazing your sitting here with us so calmly." He said.

They nodded in agreement all taking notice of my pitch black eyes.

"How long has it been since you last hunted?" Zayn asked me with narrowed eyes.

I looked down sheepishly. I hadn't hunted in a month and I'm usually supposed to hunt at least 4 times month.

"Uh a month." I said.

"And how many times are you supposed to hunt?" Harry asked also with narrowed eyes.

"4 times a month..."I said quietly.

The boys looked outraged.

"WHAT!?" Liam screamed as he shot up from his chair.

The others quickly following.

"Yeah" I said

"Why have you not been hunting?" Harry asked

"I was staying here making sure you were all safe." I said defensively.

"Starving your self won't help you protect us." Louis said.

"I know but I just couldn't leave you all here high and dry." I said. My inner beast roaring at the thought of them alone here and unprotected.

"How about we come with you?" Niall asked.

It was my turn to shoot from my chair.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!" I yelled.

"Why not, cause it's dangerous?" Zayn asked.

"That's exactly why!" I yelled back.

"What's so dangerous out there?" Niall asked this time.

"Me. I'm not my self when I hunt. My instincts take over. And I don't want you all to see me like that." I said quietly.

I was looking at my toes when I felt a pair of arms around me. Followed by four more pairs. I purred quietly at the contact.

"Saraph, seeing you hunt won't change our image of you." Harry said while smiling at me.

I smiled back and said "ok you guys can come. But try to make as little noise as possible. Like almost absolutely none. If I hear you it could get bad." I said.

They nodded excitedly.

"Good now go change and meet me down by the back door." With that said they all raced to their rooms and me to mine.

When I got their I changed into some old jeans and a sweater.

When I got down stairs I swallowed my fear and met the excited boys with a matching smile.

"We are moving out." I said in a sergeant voice.

When we got out side they got on ATV's and I was just going to run.

"Ready?" I asked them.

"Yeah let's go!" Niall said bouncing on his seat.

"I can't believe we're going to go watch a vampire hunt." Liam said. Zayn nodded in agreement.

"Just remember to stay quiet."

They nodded and took off on the vehicles.

I gave them a five minute headstart before I took off after them. I simply followed the sound of their engines.

They looked shocked when I came next to them and winked.

"Follow me, I know of a clearing." I shouted to them over the noise.

They nodded and I sped past them, occasionally looking back to make sure the were behind me.

When we came to the clearing the turned off their ATV's and came to stand by me.

"You run fast!" Niall exclaimed.

"Duh, she's a vampire." Harry said.

I shook my head in amusement and walked to the middle of the clearing.

They stayed at the edge watching me curiously.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Listening to my surroundings. I heard their calm and quiet heartbeats. I heard the little river about 4 and a half miles away and lastly I heard a herd of deer close by but also heard a bear just a few feet away from the clearing. To the left of the boys.

My eyes snapped open and my heard snapped in the direction of the bear. And j shot off to the bear. The boys could still see me slightly. Their eyes went wide when they saw me tackle the bear.

The bear was surprised but still took a swipe at me. Narrowly missing my side. J jumped at it again. And quickly took it down. I snapped it's neck and started drinking the sweet nectar of its body.

When I was done I stood up and faced the boys. I expected to see their faces full of disgust and fear but there was none. Only awe and amazement.

"That was so awesome!" Niall almost screeched.

"Your not afraid?" I asked cautiously.

They all shook their heads and I smiled brightly.

"Race you home!" With that said I raced to the house.

"No fair we weren't even ready!" I heard them yell.

I wasn't gone I was in a tree making sure they were safe.

They all got back on the ATV's and started speeding home. They were halfway there when I jumped from the trees, effectively scaring them.

I just smiled and started running.

I heard their shouts of protest and slowed down so there could keep up.

In the end I won.

When we got to the house I took a shower and they got ready for a concert.

I was so happy they weren't scared of me.
