When Dean woke up he was alone, it took him a second to realize it, but when he did, he flipped. He checked the bathroom then ran outside to see if the Impala was still there. Sure enough it was gone, no where to be seen in the parking lot.

Dean ran and grabbed his cell phone and dialed Cas. "Where the hell are you?" He said as soon as he heard Cas pick up. His voice was rough, partly because he just woke up and partly because he was furious.

You could hear wind like they were driving and the windows were down. "Just a moment Dean we're almost to the motel," with that Cas hung up.

Dean stared blankly at his phone, until he heard the roar of his baby's engine. He waited in the room on the corner of the table with his arms crossed like an angry parent waiting for his kid to come through the door way past their curfew.

The door swung open and Sam walked in with a bag and Cas was carrying a tray with coffees. "Good morning Dean," Sam smiled.

"Don't you 'good morning Dean' me" he said mimicking Sam. "Where did you go and why did you take the Impala?" Dean sounded more worried than angry.

"Um obviously we went to the corner store," Sam said gesturing to the bag and coffee. "And we took the impala because I don't have a car." Sam said it almost like a question.

"Cas couldn't just poof there?" Dean stood up and still had his arms crossed. "You know I don't like anyone driving Baby."

"Dean you sound ridiculous," Sam said rolling his eyes and tossing Dean a breakfast burrito. "Plus you can't be mad, I brought you this," Sam walked to the table and set down an apple pie.

"I can still be mad, I just won't be mad and hungry," Dean said as he locked his eyes on the pie and sat down right in front of it starring into the container.

Sam grinned and chuckled, but Cas just starred at Dean, he wondered why dean loved pie so much. He wondered why Deans car means so much to him. He wondered how his actions would impact Sam and Dean and the "plan", but most of all he wondered what Dean would think about the silver rings Cas held in his trench coat pocket. 'Would Dean think they were silly?' Cas didn't mean them as wedding rings but more as rings to remind them of the secret relationship they had, like promise rings.

Sam plopped down onto the bed he had laid on last night and opened the wrapper of his breakfast burrito, "so what's our next move?"

Dean turned away from his pie only for a moment to look at Sammy, "what do you mean" He turned back to shovel more food into his mouth.

"Well you guys said we couldn't be in the same spot for too long or the angels or demons would find us right?" Sam moved his hair further from his eyes then took a bite of the burrito, then picked up a newspaper off the nightstand.

Castiel snapped out of his thoughts, "Yes that is very true Sam we should keep moving." He looked at Dean who had a mouthful of apple pie, "where do you think we should go?"

"I've always wanted to see our hometown!" Sam perked up a little, "I mean we moved when I was so little, it would be kind of cool to see you know?"

Dean thought about it for a minute, he didn't like the thought of going to the place his mom died, but it seemed to make Sam a little happier. "Okay, Lawrence it is." Dean closed the pie box and grabbed his coat, "let's hit the road."

They had been driving for about 5 hours Cas in shotgun, Sam in the back, and of course Dean was driving. It was just hitting noon and Deans stomach was growling.

"Dean I notice your stomach is making noise, that means you are hungry right?" Cas seemed genuinely concerned.

"Cas you were human for a while right? Don't you remember anything from that time?" Dean asked glancing back and forth from the road to Cas.

"No Dean... I don't, those memories were implanted into my head, but now that I'm an angel again they have been removed." Cas tried explaining it the best way he knew how.

Just as Cas ran out of words Deans phone rang. "Cas can you grab that for me," Deans voice was low.

Cas grabbed Deans phone off  the seat and opened it, "This is Deans phone, I, Castiel, am speaking."

Sam chuckled in the backseat and Dean rolled his eyes, "Give me the phone Cas," he gestured for the phone with his left hand. "Hey....Bobby?"
"Put it on speaker Dean," Sam urged him by tapping on his shoulder.

"You're on speaker Bobby, Sam and Cas are in the car," Dean handed the phone back to Sam who held it between all of them.

"Where are you boys, what's going on, and why didn't you two idjits tell me Sam was in town? And who the hell is Castiel?"

"Sam's not in town Bobby.. we're taking a little.. road trip. Cas is our uh- friend" Dean's voice remained a little deeper than usual.

"I've been around you boys long enough to hear the stress in your voice Dean. Now tell me what's really going on."

"Bobby we can't," Sam spoke up he sounded apologetic and the look in his eyes backed up his tone of voice. "It's hard to explain over the phone and well, just hard to believe."

"Boy if you don't tell me right now I'm gonna have to hunt you down and force it out of you" Bobby became very worried and annoyed.

"Okay," Dean sighed, "Sam is being chased by an obsessed demon stalker and my friend Cas here is an angel helping us run from angels who are hell bent on getting rid of Sam or something." He spoke a little fast hoping Bobby would think he misheard him.

They all waited for Bobby to start laughing or ask if they were doing drugs, but that never happened. It was silent for a long time before Bobby broke the silence, "Where are you boys heading right now," the sound of his voice was a bit eerie do to how serious he was.

"We don't know yet," Cas spoke up. He didn't want them telling the truth in case some one was listening in.

"Look I knew you boys would find out one day, but I just.... not like this. I mean I've heard of windigos and hell hounds and vamps, but angels too now? What are you boys getting yourselves into?"

Dean grabbed the phone from Sam and he got much angrier, "what do you mean hell hounds and vamps? You mean you knew all about these- these things and you couldn't tell me or Sam? Do you realize how much easier it would have been if you would have told us a long time ago? How much safer we would be knowing about these things?"

         "Dean-I-I"
"No it's alright Bobby, I'll talk to you later," Deanshut his phone hard and threw it in the back onto the floor. He blasted the stereo and let Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On" fill the silence of the car as he pushed harder on the gas.
