~|Experiment 0.7|~

Fact: Vincent will always be an annoying *sshole.

"There as as many atoms in a single molecule of.your DNA as there are stars in the typical galaxy. We are, each of us, a little universe."

-Neil Degrasse Tyson

"Nick! What are you doing?" I whisper-yell as he drags me out of the cafeteria and into an empty hallway.

He chuckles and looks at me. "Well, I saved you from those girls, didn't I?"

We stop at a locker that I'm assuming is his since he fidgets with the lock and it clicks open.

"I didn't need saving." I state, placing my hands on my hips like a child trying to prove something.

"You looked like you were about to punch their jaws whenever their mouths opened. Dude, they're trying to imitate the freaking Kardashians!" he laughs hysterically.

Okay, maybe they did act Kardashian-y but they're not that bad people. Because they're popular, they kind of have the label that they're the mean girls. I know that their squad is pretty exclusive, but that's basically the only mean thing they do. Other than that, they don't care to do anything else. I mean, Mikayla and Erin surely aren't. Shay on the other hand...well she's totally devious.

"They're not that bad." I defend them, and Nick frowns, looking bewildered.

"Really? I dated-" he starts but I interrupt him.

"Shay once?" I finish and his eyes widen. "Yeah. I know. She's the only evil one out of those three. Mikayla and Erin are actually pretty cool."

He frowns then takes a step towards me. He leans forward and lowers his face down to mine, so close that his cheek brushes against mine. "Don't say her name. I heard it causes an uproar in the underworld."

He pulls away from me, laughing like a lunatic and I slap his arm repeatedly. But let's be honest, I'm laughing like a mentally insane serial killer.

"She's absolutely horrible." he states, grabbing a book from his locker. Most cousins would stick up to defend their relative, but I couldn't agree more with Nick. "You're lucky that you haven't spent 6 months of your life in a relationship with that girl. You don't know how high-maintenance and annoying she is! She basically only dated me because she wanted to tell everyone 'I'm dating Nicholas Grey'and show people that we were 'couples goals' or whatever it is."

I chuckle. "Sorry dude, but I've had it way worse."

He raises an eyebrow. "Really now?"

I grimace. "Try dealing with her for your whole life. Try being related to her."

His jaw drops, and stays hanging for a while to the point where I have to wave my hand across his face. "Nick? Nick? Nicholas Grey? Hello?"

"You're related to her. Wow. She likes to abuse people verbally and you abuse people physically."

I punch his arm and he laughs. Hmm...he always seems to be laughing. Not that I can complain about that. Afterall, seeing the left dimple in his cheek is enough to make anyone weak in the knees.

"Dude. A girl hits a guy with a baseball one time and he treats her like a criminal." I roll my eyes.

"Well, if the girl hits the ball very hard and hits the guy, causing a very noticable bruise, I think that's fair." he says jokingly.
