They appeared inside Padme's office and told her everything she buried her face in Anakin's chest and started crying when she heard about Old Luke, young Luke however saw Mara Jade standing over in a corner of the room. He walked over to her and she threw herself at Luke hugging him and she said, "I'm so glad that your alright. I thought I'd lost you!" Luke smiled and said, "You'll never lose me, Mara because I love you. I've loved since I was seven years old!" She started tearing up and became shocked at first when Luke embraced her in a hug and then kissed her long and softly on the lips but then she hummed in delight and melted into him kissing him back. Anakin and Padme smiled at them and were shocked when Leia did the same thing to Han, he looked shocked for a moment and then lightly chuckled as a huge grin spread across his face. Ben and the others returned to their own time that day and the rest of them sat back in the office and relaxed.
