Chapter Twelve

"Second Chances Are Not To Clean Up Mistakes But To Determine One's Worth" ~Lyrical

"So you made up with the JJ kid huh??" Jason quired.
Class was at it's normal today, nothing really interesting or unusual happening.Other than the first time out of a lifetime, Mr. Jones was not in for today. I nearly did a happy dance in the middle of the classroom, but I had to keep civilized for other peers in the classroom.
Our substitute was really nice as well, her name was Mrs. Wilson. She gave all the littles in the room, either coloring books, Disney word searches, or drawing pads and gave the doms in the room a snack and freetime. It was great. I could actually have fun in this class without getting yelled at.
It was a peaceful noise in the room. Littles were playing with other littles and/or their doms. On the other hand, I was coloring away a pooh bear as Jason was doing his usual thing, listening to music and doodling in his notebook.
"Yeah, I did" I agreed, not taking my eyes off the color sheet. I heard a huff come from his direction but didn't pay any mind to it as I colored in his shirt.
"You think he deserved it??" he questioned. I then looked at him as he was staring at me with intensity in his eyes. It kind of made me a bit anxious to see that glint but, I knew he wouldn't do anything dramatic or ruthless nonetheless. Jason wasn't that type of person to just start up drama.
"Yeah I do, I mean he wasn't in the wrong here" I defended. "Plus you seemed to take his side when I told you his explanation at lunch the other day."
His reddish eyes circled as he rolled them at me and focused back on his drawing in his notebook. "I never favorited his side, I SAID we can both go down to the fuckers' rooms that decided to put alcohol in a little girl's fruit punch and beat their ass, but never did I say that I trust him" He mumbled loud enough for me to hear.
I stared at him. Was he seriously holding a grudge about this situation?? I get it that he's Mr. Overprotective and stuff but, the whole matter was that it wasn't JJ to blame here. He didn't know they poured something in the drink, he didn't know that it would harm me, he didn't know that he was being set up and manipulated. It's not his fault.
"But he has no reason to not have your trust." I defended once again.
Jason huffed and sat back in his seat. I could see the annoyance and irritation in his eyes. "Are you honestly just going to believe someone just because of some bull shit story they tell you Angel Face??" He looked at me out of the corner of his eye and I tilted my head, baffled on what he was attempting to get at. I seen he rolled his eyes again to look the other way. This motion made it clear that he was getting annoyed.
"Why are you acting like this Jason?? We discussed this before at lunch the other day." I questioned. I seen he snatched his glance back at me but the tint in his eyes wasn't too friendly. It was as if he was getting mad at me trying to defend someone.
"Acting like what?? Acting like I care because some random guy came up to you in a party and gave you an alcoholic drink, and saying not only did he not see it, but didn't smell the shit in the fruit punch either?! I call mother fucking bull shit on that!!" He breathed.
