1. Don't expect love and appreciation from others.

You are the only person in your whole life who is able to tell who you trully are. You dictate your worth, your personality, your life. Don't expect anything but the worst from the others. Just like you, they are insecure people who are trying to find their path in life.

2.You are not perfect and you won't be.

Don't you even dare to doubt your worth because of your mistakes, because they are not defining you, they are just showing that you are human. We are not little perfect versions of ourselves, sorted attentively into little boxes, packed and ready to shine. No. Perfect is boring, imperfect is real and human.

3.Between being correct and being kind, choose to be kind.

Sooner or later, we all are leaving this world. And trust me when I say this, you will not remember the times when you were a fair person, but when you made someone trully happy with a simple act of caring.

4.A smile does not cost a thing, yet happiness is a rarity.

Let's make a social experiment. The next time when you'll go somewhere, pay attention to the people, not the road. Count how many people are smiling. How many people have their noses tucked in their smartphones. How many of them are dead serious, how many look stressed over something. Just take the conclusion. And think about yourself: how many times a day are you smiling?

5.Nobody stops you from being the best version of yourself.

Being a good human being is a hard task. From doing the right choice to control your reactions, it is definetly not easy, but you know what it is? Blaming the others. "I really tried, but he just got on my nerves!" True? False. The others are maybe not your friends, but they are not interested in being your enemies. And, most important, they don't have any kind of control over your actions. So stop thinking about the effect that the others have, go and be the best version of yourself you can possibly be.
