What are you gonna miss?

One day I was listening to my sister and suddenly this thought hit me: "I am gonna miss her so much!". So I am asking you now: what are you gonna miss?

Some people are gonna miss places. But a place will not ever have the ability to fill a blank space, at least not completly.

Some people are gonnna miss a scent. But what they don't know is that the scent fades away, disappears for eternity and the hole in your soul is never going to be filled.

Some people are gonna miss people. But people come and go, because they are wanderers, and just like you, they are trying to find the missing parts. So you can fill the empty spots with people, but don't expect to find your long lasting peace.

And now, my favourite kind of people, the ones that collect memories. The funny part about the memories is that they are so fragile, yet they can last till the very end. And honestly, I am in love with these tiny pieces of Universe, with these small fragments of time. As long as you will manage to keep the time frozen, everything will be fine, smiling at you with shiny eternal glimpses, and the space is filled with whatever you love. But mostly, with the people. Because the memory will conserve only what trully defines you, and what trully defines you is the love you shared.
