Lucas POV
Everything was quite different but I would rather have it this way than have Riley never talking to me again. "Daddy!" Sky said as she ran up to my arms and I carried her "Hey princess. Had a good day at school?" I ask as she nods. "Yup! Can we go home now? I'm tired" I chuckle "Alright princess let's go"

"Riley were home!" I yell as me and sky walk into the house. "Hey you two, good day at school?" Riley asks. "Yup! Mommy can I have candy?" She does her puppy eyes. "You have to eat lunch first Skyler" Riley says. "Okay then mommy" sky nods. "Lunch is on the table Skyler go eat as I talk to your dad" Riley says as she looks at me. "Okay mommy" sky says as she runs off the kitchen and Riley stands in front of me.

"Thanks for picking up skyler Lucas" she says "I'm her dad Riley I have to pick her up because I love her" I say. "Yeah I know Lucas, well you can go now do whatever you need to do" she says with a little tone. "Riley what has been up with you? I have been doing things like a dad and your treating me like I'm going to leave sky again" I say as she looks at me. "Lucas just leave I don't want to see you right now" she gives more tone and turns back away from me.

I grab her arm, pull her to me and our bodies are touching. "Riley?" "yes Lucas?" I cup her face and we look into each others Eyes "I'm never going to leave you and sky again you have to understand I love you with every piece of me, you think I would look myself in the mirror if I had left you two. I'm never ever going to leave you ever again Riley I promise you I'm sorry for the horrible things I have in the past but I want an amazing future with you and sky because I need you forever"

She Starts to have tears "Lucas I-i just-" I cut her off and bring her into a hug. "Shh its okay Riley you don't have to say anything" I hug her tight and she hugs back. "I'm sorry Lucas" she says with tears "its okay Riley you have nothing to be sorry for" I say.

"No I'm sorry that I let you go, I shouldn't have broken up with you a year ago, I want to be with you" she says as I'm shocked. "Riley together or not I'm always with you I want to be yours again" we pull away from the hug and we look at each others eyes.

"I love you Lucas"

"I Iove you too Riley"

I cup her face and we kiss like we haven't kissed in 10 years. Everything is where I wanted. I have my girl back and I'm always gonna need her.
