IT was a day I dreaded. My class and a few others we're going on a field trip to another school, I don't know what reason it was for. All I know is its taking time out of me playing baseball. We got onto the bus, I sat next to Yeah-Yeah and Smalls. "Do you even know what school we're going to?"Smalls asked, "Yeah Yeah I think Jefferson." Yeah-Yeah said. I looked out the window bored "I wish we were playing basball." I said, Squints who was behind me sitting next to Ham and Timmy. "Same Benny." Ham said, I looked out the window as the bus drove down the street "Lets just get this over with."

We arrived at Jefferson Middle School, there was a few more bus's. The worst part of this was Phillips was here too, he laughed around with his friends and then started walking to us. I looked around as some of the others classes had gone, Phillips said something and it caused the guys to start auguing. I didn't pay attention though, I just wanted to play some baseball.

We walked around the school and they showed us some of classrooms, sersouily what was the point of this. "Okay students we're going to out onto the football field now. They might be praticing so don't intterrup them." The teacher said. At least we're going to watch some sports, we walked out onto the field and saw guys practicing as their coach yelled at them. We walked around "Okay so now we're going onto the baseball field." The teacher said, baseball? When we got out Phillips started running his mouth about how better he is at baseball then us "Shut up Phillips!" Ham yelled, Phillips shook his head "I'm not gonna lie Porter! You know that everyone on your team expect Rodriguez is a disgrace to baseball!" Phillips said loudly. I rolled my eyes I wasn't in the mood to fight with him. I looked around no one was played, I looked up onto the bleachers to see a strings of girls. Though a group caught my eye mostly because of the loud laughter that was coming from it.

On the top bleacher sat four girls the one who was laughing so loudly had chocolate brown hair that went down to her shoulders, that's all I could see. Three of the girls had their back turned facing the on the top bleacher. She was pretty, really pretty. At least from what I could see. Her dirty blonde hair that went all the way down to her hips was put into tight pigtails, raveling her somewhat tan skin. She had a big smile on her face showing her pearly straight teeth. Though I liked what she was wearing most a white tank top, short demin shorts, convers, and a Yankee's hat pushing down her hair. Like I said she was really cute, I liked the casual style.

As they continued to fight I heard Phillips yell "You play ball worst then a girl!" of course all of my friends went quite at the comment. I could hear the laughter once coming from the group of girls stop. I looked back up to see the blonde girl get up and start to walk down "Lindsey! Its not worth it he's just an idiot!" One of the girls yelled. So her name was Lindsey?

Well, Lindsey walked down the bleached finally completely off she went to the a small building I'm taking is a locker-room maybe? She came out with a baseball in her hand, I looked back to see her friends waiting to what she's going to do. Lindsey looked over at her friends with a sly smile on her face, I saw one of her face drop "Lindsey..." She said. She didn't finish before Lindsey moved her arm back aiming the ball, soon enough she hurled the ball she threw it perfectly, she hit her target too. Which happened to be Phillips head...

I was laughing with Charlotte, Becca, and Julia when the group of kids came onto the baseball field. I didn't pay much attention, I was joking around with my friends as we waited for Coach Myers to show up. Being on the girls baseball team was fun, having a girls baseball team was fun just in generally. We actually had a lot of girls some of us knew how to play some of us didn't. What mattered was we tried and our Coach loved that. I knew how to play my father taught me everyday we still go outside and toss around a ball.
