Chapter 4: Karaoke

RINSO's POV

With our stomachs satisfied, we split the bill equally and paid. It was only 8:30 p.m. so, we decided to go for a walk.

"It's pretty late, but I'm super hyper!" Taehyung yells happily. We all laugh at Taehyung's silliness.

"Wait! Do y'all wanna go to a karaoke booth!?" I excitedly suggest while jumping. I look at each member's face for their answer. When my eyes land on Jungkooks face he turns away from me, 'Huh? Wait, why did he turn away?' My smile falters for a second, but I slap it back onto my face when Namjoon answered, "Yeah! Let's go!"

"Yay!" Taehyung and I scream at the same time while running forward. "Are we even going the right way!?" I asked Taehyung while we were still running. "Uhhhh... no, we're not." Taehyung and I stop and turn around and walk back to the other members.

"Rin-ah don't follow Tae, 'cause he loses track where he is whenever he's excited," Jimin says while holding my shoulders. "What!? Hyung that's not true!" Tae pouts. 'Oh my goodness! Why are these people so cute with a capital Q?' We continue walking to karaoke following the eldest, Jin. I couldn't help but noticed that the maknae hasn't said anything to me... 'Jimin always told me that he's very talkative, so why hasn't he said anything?' Shrugging off my thoughts, I speed up to walk by Jungkook.

"Hi, Jungkook." I started "Jimin told me you're a talkative person, but you seem pretty quiet." I smiled, but he stayed silent not even glancing in my direction. "Are you just a shy person around new people?" I asked, but still no answer, "I'll take that as a yes." I slowed down my pace so that I was walking by Jimin instead.

"Hey, Rinnie!" Jimin said smiling. I smiled back as my response, my attention was on someone else, Jungkook. He was wearing a plain white tee, black shorts that stopped at the bottom of his knee, brown timberlands, and a black beanie to complete the look. He was walking in front of me with his hands in his pockets. Still wondering why Jungkook wouldn't talk to me, I didn't realize Jimin said something until he hit me on the head.

"Yah! What was that for!?" I glared at Jimin while rubbing my head where he hit me. Jimin glares back at me, "Well, maybe you should pay attention when someone talks to you instead of staring at Jungkook!" My eyes widened, in the corner of my eye, I could see Jungkook his eyes were wide and his face was a light tint of red. "I wasn't staring at Jungkook! I was spacing out!" Jimin rolls his eyes, "Uh-huh, well you were spacing out while staring at Jungkook!" I was about to yell back at Jimin when Jin split us up.

"Okay you two, that's enough," Jin says while getting in between Jimin and I. "What did you say to me earlier when I was spacing out?" I asked Jimin. He looked over towards me and stayed silent for a second, remembering what he wanted to say. "Oh, why do you want to go to the karaoke? Don't you hate karaoke? Cause Minho and I would always make fun of your god awful singing?" Jimin asked, while looking back at the memories. "Wait, you can't sing?" Taehyung asked.

We all stopped at a crosswalk, waiting for the light to say that we could cross. "Yup, I suck at singing. So, I decided to go to vocal classes, but I was so bad that they didn't help me much at all." I answered honestly, "The vocal teachers noticed that my voice would probably fit better if I rapped, so they recommended a rap class. They were right, so no I can't sing, but I can rap!" I smiled proudly. I watch as I see Jungkook scoff quietly and face towards the road instead of me. 'What the hell?' I sighed, 'Why is he like this?' I thought, while looking at Jungkook's back with a sad face but only for a second.

"It's a go!" (She Was Pretty) I said pointing at the light. Before crossing, Jin told us to grab a crossing buddy, I was gonna pick Jimin but Taehyung got him before I could. Namjoon and Jin were together, and Yoongi and Hoseok were together. That left just Jungkook and me.
