Nash's Pov.

I couldn't get the talk Amber and I had. She told to stop being around Crystal. I didn't get why, its not even like I was around her, she would just appear to be where I would be. I wanted to know why, which is why I asked why which her answer shocked me.

Start of Flashback. 

"she doesn't know your secret."

"What secret?" I didn't know what she meant by secret...

"She doesn't know about magcon"

That was when I stood froze, I remember when I lied at her at the park and everything. I thought she knew everything and wanted to just get close to me to try and "fix me" or something like because everyone wanted to.

"She doesn't know anything?"

"No, she knew that Bella, Laura and I liked a bunch of guys from this thing but she never really gave a thought about it because she would always play the I'm busy with homework card. We want to keep it like that but you coming here and start doing stupid things is ruining things. So you need to stay away from her because it would be the best."

End of Flashback

I still wasn't sure Amber was lying to me or not because people always did things to get close to me. 

I need to go find her.

I quickly get off the curb of the school I was sitting on and ran to the cafeteria to see where Amber is. I walked inside the cafeteria to see Amber talking to Crystal who seemed pissed. That's when I saw Amber sign and Crystal nod and lean over the table while the other girls were nervous.

Crap, I think she is about to tell her about the "secret"

I quickly started waving at her, which luckily caught her eyes. She looked at me confused. I pointed to the door, to let her know I need to talk to her. She nodded and told the girls, and I walked out. I knew I had to get her not to tell her Crystal about my secret. 

"What do you need now Nash?"

I turn around the see Amber standing impatiently. 

"Were you about to tell her the secret"

"Yeah" she sighed.

"You can't!"

She look at me confused but curious. "Why?"

"I don't need another person to look at me like others already do."

"What am I suppose to tell her then?"

"Make up a lie, its not hard. Like say that carter is your cousin or that I am an old friend."

That's when she starts laughing at me, I don't understand why.

"Nash, do you think she doesn't hate you?"

"no?"

"You're clueless, she does."

"Then why does she always end up talking to me or just appearing every where I am"

"because she feels bad for you."

"of course she does."

That was when I couldn't handle it anymore and I just left the building. I was done with everything and thinking that some people might be different but everyone just uses me or tries to get close to me to fix me. I am not good how I am now? I needed to get my anger out and that's when I saw my chance.

Amber's Pov.

Did I just lie to Nash? It just came out of me, I wish I could take it back because I saw the hope he had in him but I knew I had to do it to help my best friends. She doesn't need someone like he was just trouble. 

I sighed and walked back into the cafeteria with my head held up high so the girls don't get worried that something happen. I had to think of a lie while walking over to back to the girls. 

"What took you so long?" Crystal looked at me curiously.

"Well its part of the secret" I took my seat getting ready to tell her, she was looked like she was on the edge of her seat.

"Nash and I use to be friends when I was younger, before I met you in grade 4. When I lived in North Carolina. We never had problems and when I went back after grade 7 for the summer to visit our old friends and Nash was different. Carter was also there and we thing of had a thing. long story short, Nash got mad and he kind of punched carter and I was yelling at him to stop his act and he slapped him. Ever since then I haven't forgave him, he would try to say sorry just like a few minutes ago but I could never forgive him. Ever since he has been trouble and I don't know why. It was a horrible memory and I could never mange telling you. That's why I also wanted you to stay away from Nash" I took a deep breath after telling her this story, which kinda surprised me. 

I looked at Crystal who had her mouth wide open. She was shocked. Thankfully, which meant she believed me and probably will now stay away from Nash, because ever since him he only caused trouble. 

"I am so sorry Amber" Crystal said while running up to me and giving me a big hug.

"I should have never been mad at you, this is horrible. I can't believe he did that, this explains so much. This must have been also very hard on you, I should really stop being so curious sometimes." She hugs me tighter. 

Hopefully now everything could go back to normal.
