Today was a brand new day.
But it wouldn't just be any other day no, today is the day I find my soulmate.
To say Im nervous would be an understatement I'm petrified! What if she doesn't even recognize me and thinks I'm just some creep that showed up to her house uninvited.
What if she didn't even live in England! I wouldn't be surprised I mean, the population is just 10.
But I pushed all those thoughts away and hopped up into jaspers ice cream truck.
"You ready munch?" Jasper asked.
"I guess so." I said with my head hung low.
"Come on munch we are about to go see the girl that you love you could try to be a little happier." He said patting me on the shoulder.
"You're right. Yes I'm ready to go jasper."
"That's the spirit." He said as he started driving out of the crowded parking lot.
With clammy hands I reached over to the radio to put on some tunes. Jasper slapped my hands away before I could press the button to turn on the radio.
"I need to concentrate munch I can't be listening to any of your hippie tunes."
"Come on Jasper I'm bored out of my mind."
"Fine" He said.
I reached over and pressed the button.
A song I know all too well was blaring out of the speakers. I was shocked.
The song ended and the bubbly announcer said
"That song was Nobody Knows by Harold Munch."
I almost threw up at that point how did they get my song?
Jasper looked over at me and had a guilty look on his face.
"You did it didn't you." I said sadly.
His gaze was still on me as he said "No munch I wouldn't do that to you. It was -"
But jasper didn't finish. He had his gaze on me for far too long that he didn't see the car heading straight towards us.
Before the ambulance had showed up both me and jasper had died.
But before I took my last breath I saw the person who hit us walk out of their car with a shocked expression.
"Munch?!" Those were the last words I heard.
It was her.
