How?

Birthday wishes are known to... not happen. Most of them, really, are just hopeless wishes thrown into the void as the person who made it slowly falls into reality and finds out it just— won't happen.

But sometimes, barely one or two wishes out of the millions of wishes that are made, happen. They happen in one or two months, maybe one or two days, possibly even a second.

And one of those lucky wishes that wasnt thrown into the void was Jeon Jungkook's.

The young maknae had this... odd desire to make the second oldest the softest and youngest, because even though he was already so petite and such a cute hyung, it was his dream to see his hyung acting like a maknae— cute and bashful and even more adorable than he already was.

And so, he made this his birthday wish— hoping desperately that the blown candles would do their work before he felt the world spin around him, blackness engulfing his vision as he fell to the floor, hearing the other six thuds of his bandmates following the same path he did.
