It was loud. All you could hear was your coach telling you that everything was going to be alright. You took your soakers off as you watched the 17 year old girl leave the ice.
You pushed yourself on to the ice and skated to the center. This was go time. The room grew silent with only a little noise from the audience as the music started. The song started out slow. While skating you felt all of the love and happiness you've experienced in japan with the male skaters. The words began.

You have never connected with the words of a song like this before. With every jump, every spin, you gave nothing but your fragile heart and emotion.

It was at this moment you knew which skater you had fallen in love with.

You skated off of the Ice after picking up a cute polar bear thrown by a fan. All you needed was a score of 150 to defend your two time gold medalist title.
"Final score for (y/n) (l/n)...........144."

You couldn't believe this. You got second place to a girl who messed up multiple times compared to your flawless performance. You couldn't take it anymore. With a smile on your face you walked out of there holding back your tears while ignoring the Cameras. This was total BS.

(to anyone still reading this, sorry I took so long to update. I've been going through some family problems and that doesn't leave me any time to write or even read fanfics.
