Weird. I can sense someone out there. No one ever comes here. No one dares. Forget it. I shall let him/her get lost in the dark. Tap tap tap. Footsteps lightly treading across the marble floor of my cave, a power nearing, albeit weaker than mine. I can easily crush him/her if he/she poses any sign of danger.

"Y...y...your Highness, the mighty Zeus has asked to see you." Hmm...he must have a motive. What is it this time? Another scolding on behalf of my father for trouble that I had not created but just because he sensed I will?

"Why?'

"Th-that's not for me to say, Your Highness. May I escort you there now?"

"Fine. Make this quick then."

What can I expect from the mighty god? Nothing less. After many years of training, my power has improved drastically. Armed with my black onyx sword, I teleported to Mount Olympian with Zeus' underling. As I opened my eyes, I am greeted by the one and only Zeus, with the other 9 gods and goddesses sitting by in a circle of thrones.

Zeus cleared his throat. "I expected you here exactly now. You never disappoint."

"Cut to the chase, Zeus. What do you want?"

"You know my youngest son...Zephir. He is on a quest and I want you to aid him. As for the reward, you will know in time to come."

There's a reward? I might consider. I don't help people for nothing, but it must be worthy of my time. What is this quest?

Zeus snapped his fingers to clear my thoughts. A guy stepped out, seeming around my age

*Rewind*

A guy stepped out, seeming around my age. Wait---what? I had seen him before. He was the disrespectful guy who came in my cave and lit the whole place up with his seemingly bright light, complaining about the darkness and caused my eyes to be temporarily blind for 3 whole days.

Nobody steps on my territory and brighten up the place. If I wanted my house to be bright, I would have done so. This guy is seriously lacking in common sense.

Well, well, he wants my aid in his quest, I can't be more happy to help. Let's just wait for my sweet revenge.

*Back to now*

"Hey, a penny of your thoughts?" That guy said with a smirk.

"You know I can read minds right?" Does he know something called privacy?

"I do." I ignored him.

"You have quite a high tolerance level, eh?" For stupidity.

He must have read that too, for glared at me. I just remained expressionless and he glared harder. What can I say? Got to admit I'm not a very likable person.

"Zephir, stop it." Zeus knows what's going on. "The two of you will set off tomorrow. The quest shall only be revealed then."

-The next day-

"No."

Not there, never there. That place brings back too many memories. No way am I going there. I narrowed my eyes at Zeus, making sure he gets what I mean.

That idiot, however, is not that smart. Not that I expected him to be smart.

"Why? Can't take the challenge? I knew it."

I really wanted to smash his face with a brick.

"Your intelligence is like negative infinite."

"Don't you dare push it too far. I'm still the god of light. You can't live without me."

"Really? Watch me. I'm much happier without light. No duh, I'm the goddess of darkness. Hell? Please. I'm not scared of that place."

Suddenly I realised I blurted out everything. I have no choice but to go there. Zeus and the Olympians, I hate you for that.
