Part 36- It's Dangerous Beyond the Blankets

With the thoughts of Myra's possible death in Minseok's mind he is unable to focus on ordinary things. He has shut out EXO and isolated himself from the world as he is coping with the little details of her 'not doing too well'. He sat outside his bedroom porch as he thought about the times when they would play around and mess around with Chen and Luhan. "Athena Ivy" "i can't lose her! Please bring her back" "i promise" "what did you do now? Kill her" "ughh why am i thinking about all this!?" he yelled in frustration as he ran his fingers through his dark locks while kicking little stones that came at his way. He's forgotten when to have dinner and when to sleep. The organised and well tidied Minseok has now become irregular and different, the boys have noticed too hence they have given their distance only leaving Chanyeol to sit by his best friend's side. But really she was the only friend he had throughout his childhood. Minseok was just another lost man who literally messed up his life. As Minseok was strolling through his garden and walking around he found himself by the pools where he heard laughter and conversations.

Sounded like a group of people. "Must be them" he thought and walked closer to open the closed gate that locked him out of their vibe. They were unaware of his presence beside the pool while they all sat at an outdoor table with flicker lights and drinks and food while enjoying a good converse. He stopped at the mention of a particular converse. He thought to keep his time alone and feel the water beneath his feet. He started to roll up his sweat pants and listened to their conversation "...i don't know, when Chanyeol brought her inside, i had a sense of smell that it was.. You know..." the voice trailed off as if it was explaining using hand gestures that voice was too familiar, it was Lay "that was weird..i mean why would all this happen, nothing really makes sense" another male voice was heard this time it was Baekhyun "what doesn't?" this time a female voice was heard. "The fact that 10 years ago we all went to Bangtan City Palace in order to bring back Myra but in the last year not even an exact 12 month time Myra left..." he continued. Minseok sat with his legs dipped in the cold pool. "10 YEARS!? Did that affect the time in this world? Or is it i believe a 1 second difference?" Sohee asked with her voice still cold in the air.

"Nope, it's yeah, a 1 second difference. So when they were way over there, it's like time had stopped itself, so nothing different. Also it's weird because it was all Bora's plan, this all leaving and Queen stuff was a hoax for her. Although it was somewhat true that Myra was the queen of city palace in her previous life but, her going back was just a falsehood for you all to believe. She wanted her dead, knowing that she has taken her obsession, Minseok and that she couldn't have him unless she took drastic measures to obtain him. Oh god pass me a soju please, you guys are making me talk too much" Minseok looked up to sky as he took in every information form their interesting conversation that he thought was unnecessary "here....i wouldn't regret my time in Bangtan City Palace. It was oddly fun by the way Mina, how do you know all this?" Chen asked as all the members agreed "intelligence runs in the family" she replied. "Where were you all this time? And when i saw you for the first time i mistook you for Myra but the scar, you know that she had was sometimes there then not there and when Mark proposed to you. It was definitely not Myra because by that time we all knew that Mina was Myra as a disguise" "Aren't you a smart one, Sehun? well, let's just say i was in Europe minding my own business until i was called in for an emergency. This" "also we knew when the divorce papers were sent to Minseok." "then why did he rage at her?" "that i don't know." Mina possibly replied "Minseok must have bipolar" he knew this voice too well, Sohee. They all laughed at her response.

"Hey" Minseok greeted them as he took a beer out of the mini freezer and sipped on it casually. The others greeted him back weirdly as he hadn't spoken to them in the past few months. 5 and a half to be exact. "How are you...?" Kyungsoo asked Minseok in a friendly manner where Chanyeol took it immaturely. "I'm good" he assured raising his bottle, with that he left to his room where Myra was and prepared to clean her up. He started to wipe her face, wipe her arms and legs with a warm but damp cloth and dress her up in her night dress. No one would come up to be in his room at this time because this was the time Minseok 'took care of her' once he was finished he would take her clothes to the washing and prepare her clothes for the next day. "Hey...how she doin?" Sohee came and questioned her elder brother as she entered the room with the signature smile. "She's doing fine, i guess. Did lay tell you when she'll finally wake up?" Minseok then questioned Sohee with hope filled in them. She simply nodded apologetically "no, i'm sorry...She's in a c-coma, that's all Lay spoke to us about." Minseok shut his eyes aggressively as he took in the emotions that tried to escape his eyes. "I'll come back with the others soon" "no, Sohee, you should go home, i told you not to interact with my members. It's for our own privacy, you know how sasaeng fans are, it's dangerous." "you're not an idol anymore why do you still want to hide me?" "whether or not i am under the entertainment or not i care for you as much i cared for Myra, i gave up the fame for her" Minseok spoke truth, giving an insight to Sohee's doubts "aww, but i understand how much you wanted this dream" "it wasn't worth it, they gave me shit amount of lines." he started laughing which brightened up the atmosphere.

"Finally we see those teeth" Chen came running and hugged his hyung. "We should go to sleep now. It's already past 10 and some of us are drunk." he pointed to Baekhyun who was repeating his sentences causing a fit of laughter in the end of the room "ohh, kkaebsong that scared me" They all went in their beds and waited for Minseok to turn the lights of with his fancy remote. Sehun was looking for his duck plushies with Lay looking for his unicorn plushies. Chanyeol and Baekhyun were playing upside down rock paper scissors. Kai and Kyungsoo were tucking themselves in after saying goodnight to each other. Suho and Chen were having their own conversation about Minseok's height and giggling as he gave them glares. Mina and Mark well, let's just say they weren't in there situated beds. While Sohee took the time to brush her teeth before climbing up to her bed. Chanyeol was always clapping like a derp so he had to change it into a remote. In the past months Kai suggested of having a bunk bed in Minseok's room so that they could be with Myra if she wakes up and didn't want to leave her alone. And since Minseok's room was already a size of his living room he agreed to keep 6 bunk beds situated in his room for the time being with Myra in his bed.

Sehun found his yellow duck plush with Lay's unicorn and waved it in the air before climbing in bed "YEHET!" Minseok chuckled before turning the lights of as he checked everyone in their beds. "Mina get in your bed now! I'm not turning off the light til you get down" Minseok seemed annoyed but couldn't help the couple. "I can't" she spoke back as she was snuggled in bed with Mark. "why not?" Minseok mocked "i'm naked, goodnight" "that's an awful excuse, you know you and your sister are alike, hurry up and get in your bed as i say so" he tugged onto the duvet that they were underneath of. "Okay" she sighed in relief. "Is this what you call naked? You look well dressed" he mocked her before she punched his stomach. He groaned in pain as he fell on his bed. "Yah don't tryna break this i'll fall STUPID! Turn the light off STUPID" Sohee yelled from above throwing a spare pillow on his face when the bed shook of Minseok's fall. Chanyeol and baekhyun just laughed hysterically at Minseok and his sister. Minseok turned the lights off "from tomorrow, boys won't share a bunk with girls." They all awwd in sadness. While Sohee didn't care as she was used to sharing a bunk with her brother during camp. "where will Sohee sleep? Since your overprotective of your little sister" Chen mocked him. "Ill swap with Min-AH" he was thrown another object."I'll break your face" "YEHET!" "GOODNIGHT EVERYBADY" they all yelled then they all slept on their bunk beds like this:
