Kazu finally parked the car in a long driveway, it was gravel and held mulberry trees on both sides, alongside the mulberries grew elegant weeping willows. The house they approached about pearled to be under trees, until Loki realized that it was just surrounded by even more weeping willows. When they were closer he also noticed the house was actually partially underground, with grass growing on the roof.

"Welcome to the humble abode my sister and I call home," Kazu's playful grin brought light on the fact that no one had mentioned anything about Kuromi being with parents.

"Where are your parents?" Loki ventured the question, before shutting up, everyone froze before ignoring the question. Although the air was physically tenser than before.

"Kazu? That was your name correct?" Loki asked, "can you explain? Now? I'm getting sick of being left in the dark, and when Romi wanted to tell me, she never got to, because she collapsed in a park that you both obviously knew!" Loki pointed that remark towards Holly.

"I'm sorry but we need to talk," Holly said, "You will learn the second Kuromi wakes." Holly took a deep breath before starting to lead Loki to a room, the door, painted black, was obviously leading to a bedroom, and this peaked Loki's curiosity. But when the door was opened he knew his face was shocked, it was all black gray or red. Not a single blue, or even yellow was in the  room. It was definitely Kuromi's room. Walking to the giant bed that was set on the floor, he brought back the comforter before attempting to set Romi down.

"Please... Don't go..." a barely conscious Kuromi spoke, reaching out, "Loki... Stay..." she finished, but continued to hold onto Loki's jacket.

"Just stay there," Holly growled, when she walked past, clearly seeing the predicament Loki had gotten into. "If you move away she'll wake up and start crying."

"She'll cry?!" Lou panicked, before inching closer to Kuromi and laying his hand on hers.

"Yep, it's a personality trait she got from her brother..." Holly sighed before walking in and gently patting Kuromi on the head, a kind smile on her face and a sad look in her eyes, "W— I assumed it was an instinct for defense, they only do it to certain people."

Loki frowned, he could have sworn she was about to say 'we' yet he left the subject be. And turned to gently shift Kuromi closer to the wall before laying on top of the comforter, and pulling out his phone, luckily he had a charger cable and block.

"Holly, plug my phone in, cause I'm stuck." He ordered.

"Yeah, yeah, tell Kuromi to come to the kitchen when she wakes up," Holly said.

"Obviously," Loki replied.

"Uh... T-Thank you..." Holly spun and quickly walked out of the room, causing Loki to chuckle softly.

Kuromi moved slightly, causing Loki to quickly pat her head, "Kuromi?" he asked quietly, receiving a small nod in response, "You were awake?" another nod. "I see, will you talk to her?" another nod, although it was much more hesitated, "Do you want me to come with you?"

"Yeah..."

"Alright, you want to go now?" A nod made him start to stand up, leaving Kuromi on the bed, she grabbed his hand, and held it tightly.

"Wait!" she said quickly.

"Of course."

"Th-Thank you."

"What is with you girls today? Neither of you ever apologize or say thank you," Loki teased, patting Kuromi's hair, "Let's get going."

"Yeah."

The small girl dressed in black grinned, "Don't get used to it."

"There's the Kuromi I know!" Loki joked, still holding her hand.

"I'm ready." Kuromi smiled.

"Let's go," Loki smiled in return, his hand grasped Kuromi's.

The two opened the doors of the kitchen, ready to confront the past. And prepared to fix the mistakes made. Finally ready to become the family they were once before.
