I dont know if it was the 5th or 50th time he had mentioned her name since talking to me, but after awhile of hearing the same things about the same pearson you envy the most, you tend to doze off. That was exactly what I was doing, dozing, as he continued to talk about how cute and perfect Claire Kent was.

Hi, im Sage Watertower and I have a major crush on this guy who sees me as nothing more than a friend. Yep, just last week I had officially been placed into the friend zone, but Claire, perfect body, perfect blonde hair, perfect grades, perfect smile Claire was his new goal of the week. Compared to her I was a joke. Im not saying im ugly or anything, but compared to her I was nothing but a lost cause.

Let me explain, I don't have a thigh gap, my stomach isn't flat, but not big either, big enough to hate myself, but small enough to eat another piece of my favorite pizza. My hair is a plain carmel color with the eyes to match, and a few freckles to cover my face. I didn't play a sexy sport that showed of my chest and butt like volleyball, but I did enjoy playing a good game of basketball with my team. I didn't belong to a certain social group, but mingled with everyone. I wasn't socially akward, in fact im usally the class clown that everyone loves, everyone but him. I was a straight A student, but by looking at me you would never tell. I didn't dress up for school, but put on a t-shirt, a pair of miss me jeans, my favorite pair of white sperrys and a hint of mascara.

Even though I said I didn't belong to one social group doesn't mean I didn't have best friends. In fact I have three. I had met them my first year of middle school and we've been inseparable ever since. Katie was the skinnest and one with the most attitude of us with long dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Paisley was the toughest and craziest of us with brown hair and light blue eyes to die for. Lastly there's Bailey, the sweetest and quietest of us with wavy brown hair and a beautiful shade of blue eyes. We weren't just friends, we were sisters and we had been together from the beginning of middle school all the way to our last year of high school.

Family wise my parents divorced when I was three years old, but both remarried. 6 years after marrying my stepfather my mom had my twin brother Zack and sister Grace. My stepmother had already had a son before marrying my father, blessing me with my stepbrother Kyle. And thats pretty much everything you need to know about me and the boring life of Sage Watertower.
