|KATIES POV|

I heard the car door slam and the flip flop of her sliders up my drive, then the doorbell rang and I jumped up and opened the door as fast as I could
"KATIE!!" She screamed
"ANNIE!" I shouted
It felt like we was hugging forever, but we eventually fell to the floor laughing because we haven't seen each other for so long.

|BRENNANS POV|
I haven't seen her for so long, and there she was, in all her beauty, messy bun, pyjamas no makeup. Julianna grace leblanc. The girl that's had my heart since she met Katie.
Me and Ryan walked over to the door, "h hi annie" ( she still doesn't know I like her, only Ryan and Katie do) " hi Brennan" she says, " have erm you been ok since, you know..." her head dropped the the floor, no one had spoke about it, about caleb passing away.
"Uh yeh, i. I've been fine, you?"
" just celebrating every day :)" she said, and she put on a smile I knew all too well.
I wanted to hug her so bad, but I knew it would cause an argument, katie knows I like her but she also knows someone else who does, and he's better than I'll ever be.

|ANNIES POV|

Brennan seemed abit different today, Ryan and Katie hugged me like usual and he just stood there staring at me? Maybe because I didn't have makeup on? I don't know.

|BRENNANS POV|

I still don't know what to do, they're all downstairs watching a movie and I'm sat in my room being a saddo.
I was just sat on my phone scrolling through my instagram when I hear footsteps, then my door creaks open.
B- "Oh ha hi annie"
A- "Hi... uh are you ok? You haven't been down for like an hour?"
B- "Yeh just erm busy on my phone"
A- "oh right er ok see ya"
B- "b. Bye"
( I want to stop her so bad and tell her how I fell)
Ugh do I do it
B- "ANNIE, uh wait a sec"
A- "yeh?"
I tel her everything, about how much I've liked her, about how beautiful I think she is... everything, she doesn't speak at all, just occasionally puts her head down because she's blushing.
A- "erm ah Brennan, I don't want to ruin my friendship with Katie and Ryan but I want you to be happy, and also.. n nevermind"
I stood up and looked down at her, I could tell something was bothering her, but I didn't know just what, I walked out the room and didn't say anything.

2 hours have passed and annie still hasn't come down, we all assumed she's fallen asleep so we go to bed too.
