Brennan's POV
I Didn't sleep at all last night, thinking that annie could be anywhere. I got up and made pancakes for me Katie and Hayley, brad left last night after I fell asleep.
Katie's POV
It kills me not being able to tell Brennan that I met up with annie, and it kills me even more that I know he's hurting and he loves her deeply... hopefully she'll come to he senses and come home today...
2 hours later-- 12:00 morning
As me Brennan and Hayley are sat in the basement watching tv I hear the door open upstairs, we hear footsteps coming down and we hope it's annie..
But no. It's brad
I get a message off annie just as the film starts
A- hey Katie, im on my way DONT TELL BRENNAN!! I'll message you when I'm at the door and make sure Brennan can't hear the door opening
K- okay annie!!❤️❤️
A- see you soon💜💜
I carry on watching the movie and eventually brad and Hayley fall asleep
Out of no where Brennan clears his throats and speaks
B- Katie, he pauses, do you think annie really likes me?
K- yess!! Of course she does!!
B- why does she never show it?
K- she's having a hard time... I'm sure she'll come through..
B- thanks sis, do you know when she's coming back?
K- Toni-- I mean she sai she needs a  few more days.. I say with a sad look on my face
Just then my phone goes off and it's annie
A- at the door
Plan surprise Brennan commence!
K- okay annie, give me a sec
I put a film on and turn the volume up
B- what are you doing we are gonna go deaf
K- it's a good film
As a loud part comes I message annie
K- NOW!!
I didn't even hear the door open and I knew it was coming, so I doubt Brennan did... I tell brennan I was going to the toilet and I ran upstairs
K- Annie!!( I whispered)
A- hey katie! Is he awake??
K- yeh lets go down!
A- okay
Just as we got the the stairs annie stopped me
K- everything ok?
A- what if he hates me..
K- he won't do!!
A-can I not just sit in my room and you tell him you left something in there and ask him to get it?
K- fine..
Annies POV
As I walk upstairs to my room I hear Katie go down to the basement, I perch on the end of my bed and wait patiently...
After a little bit Katie sends me a message
K- he's on his way now!! Tell me how it goes

I sit there patiently then the door flys open..
Brennan stands there, motionless, confused, shocked.
I stand up and he starts crying, he falls to the floor and I fall back on my bed and burst into tears.. I hate seeing him upset, let alone cry...
Brennan's POV
Km led watching the movie and Katie turns the volume up really loud,
B- ah Katie, do you want us to go deaf?
She smirks
K-Hey I'm going to the bathroom brb
B- k
She's been to the bathroom quiet a lot😂
After a couple of minutes I hear her coming back down, then she starts whispering, I got really confused and I was about to get up when she ran down and got in bed,
K- ughhhhhhh
She let out a long sigh
B- what?
K- I left my phone in Annies room
K- brennannnn
B- yeh
K- will you go get it pleaseeee
B- fine, but u owe me I was comfy
I drag my body up the stairs and to Annies room, it makes me so sad she's not here, I start to tear up and then stop myself, I walk in and get the biggest shock of my life, there she is. Sat there. I stare at her for a minute then I can't hold back my feelings anymore.. I drop to the floor crying and I hear her start too.
I stand up and Walk over to her and get down on my knees in front of her.
B- Annie, promise to never leave my side again.
I brush the hair out of her face and saw she had a black eye.
A- I promise..
