Memory Lane

*Kenneth's POV*

I sit on the chair in Stefan's room reading his diary, and I laugh at his cliche way of saying how he waited to meet Elena and all, and how close of a friendship he is getting with John. Trying to replace his once best friend with a guy who looks exactly like me. And he says he's not obsessed... yeah, sure. I begin to turn the next page and Stefan wakes up from Katherine messing with his mind. He sighs, and lays back down all the way, relaxing, running his fingers in Katherine's hair.

"Hey, you ok?" Katherine asked. He sighs heavily.

"Had a bad dream?" I asked, flipping to the next page, not really paying attention to them.

"Yes, bad dream," he said. She nods her head innocently.

"Go back to sleep," he whispers to her. How long is it going to take for him to notice that Katherine is on him and not Elena, and me, Kenneth is in here, waiting for him to get the hell up. She relaxes into his chest. He opens his eyes, realizing something. I look up at him and roll my eyes. About time. He vamp speeds out of the bed and stands in front of me. She sits up and looks at him.

"Katherine," he says, looking at her. He turns the other way and looks at me.

"Kenneth," he says, looking disappointed in himself. I smile, and look back down to his diary.

"It was about time you woke up, dumbo," I said.

"You have to admit I am getting better at this," she said.

"It was easy to get inside your head, have you completely forsaken you lr nature?" she asked, making me chuckle. He vamp speeds towards her to attack, but she pushes him back a few feet, sliding towards my feet. I move my feet a bit.

"Watch it, these are brand new," I said, still looking at his diary.

"Are we really going to do this again?" Katherine asked.

"We both know I could rip you to shreds and do my nails at the same time," she said, looking at him with doe eyes.

"All things considered," I said, she looked at me and I smiled, going back to reading his diary.

"What are you reading?" he asked me, already knowing the answer.

"Your diary, which by the way is really interesting, but you do know guys don't do things like this right?" I asked him and he got up and vamp speed towards me trying to take the book away. Before he can do anything, I vamp speed and get up and hold him up against the wall in a choke hold.

"Really Stef? You know you can't attack her, so what made you think you had a chance with me? Huh?" I asked, he tries to get out of the choke hold, but he kept struggling.

"Does being with Elena all the time make your brain shrink?" I asked him, and that seemed to get him angry.

"Don't talk about her," he says, voice a little raspy.

"Didn't mean to push buddy, I was just asking a simple question," I said, and push him onto the floor, and I throw the diary at him.

"I was done with it anyway, I was lying before, you are the most absolutely boring person I've ever met, then again, being with Elena probably made you that way," I said, and he glared at me and I rolled my eyes. He gets up, and holds his neck.

"What do you want?" he asked the both of us.

"We wanted to see you, I've missed you, Stefan, indulge me for a little while, Stefan, please?" Kath asked him.
