Prologue
Antagonist, a noun, is the character in a story who stands in opposition towards the protagonist. Most of its characters traits are primarily concerned with their own self-interests and is more likely to manipulate and exploit others to achieve their goals. I am an antagonist.
I'd been thinking a lot lately if I had been a good friend to D and Jessie. I haven't talked to D for months and I feel guilty about unconsciously ignoring and forgetting that she's my very best friend. I feel worse for Jessie. I lied to her, put her in trouble and the worst part, stole her boyfriend. I mean, she's smart and pretty. The only bad thing that she did to me was having the boy that I love fall for her so badly that I had to do those mean things to get him. She would surely be able to find another Dan in her life and get back on track in no time.
Saying those bad words you might think that I'm the antagonist here. But you're all wrong. I'm a very good girl and it's all written in my name. But something happened that forced me to do all of those awful things. It all started when I found out that I am moving with my family to Canada next year......
