"Okay, so!" Mr.Herald clapped his hands together getting the classes attention, he moved to the front of his desk and leaned back on it.

"You all must have sat in seats just thinking I would have let y'all sit there.." he paused looking around at all 25 students in his class. "I was going to but I have had most of you in my class before and I know who you talk to a lot and don't talk a lot to so here's what I'm going to do."

"Lydia, you're going to be working with Dinah, okay? Move closer please." Lydia looks at me with wide eyes, Lydia is one of my closest friends, I'm closer to her than anyone else.

Lydia is a Brunette with light brown eyes, she's literally my favorite person in the world, she was there when my dad would take his anger out on me, she was just my shoulder to cry on.

Once Lydia moved closer to Dinah she smiled and blushed when Dinah touched her arm asking how she was doing, oh my god.. is Lydia blushing?

I am brought out of my thoughts by my name being called, "Y/N, I'd like you to work with.. um Lauren."

I practically choked at the words that left his mouth, okay.. he didn't just say I'm working with Jauregui right?!

I cleared my throat and looked at him then back at Jauregui, "You're not serious are you?"

"One hundred percent, please Ms.Jauregui find a seat next to Y/N."

Lauren stood up rolling her eyes and mumbled to herself something like, 'Working with her will be the death of me..' ain't that right it applies to her too.

After our teacher had finished assigning some of us partners he said that we had to get to know our new partners and that we need to present our project by tomorrow after school the latest, he then left the rest of the last 20 minutes of class for us to get to know each other and work on this project.

"Hey.." Lauren greeted me awkwardly, her voice soft yet a little rough.

My eyes met hers and I looked away not saying a word, she may be my partner but I do not need to speak to her.

"Y/F/N, you can't just ignore me.. I'm gonna be your partner whether you like it or not. Hell I don't like this at all but at least I'm taking a step to actually talk to you." She said trying to make eye contact but soon gave up when I refused to look up from my notebook.

"Herald said we have to do a project on what we learned about our new partners, so you and I can meet up after school at the library or something?"

"I'm surprised you even know what a library is.." I mumled and from the corner of my eye I saw her lips curl into a small smile before it faded.

"I'm not completely stupid." She flipped her hair and I looked up at her.

"Can you at least be a little less.. I don't know miss perfect?"

"I'm not miss perfect, I'll act how I would like."

"K." I said pulling out my phone to see a text message from Lydia.

I laughed looking up from my phone and looked over at Lydia and she's pointing at Dinah when Dinah when she wasn't looking and fanning herself but Dinah had turned to look at her and Lydia tried playing it off cool by running a hand through her hair.
