Hope woke up to the ringing of her phone. Groggily, she picked it up without bothering to see who the caller was at such at what she was sure was an ungodly hour.
"Hello"
Thump! Thump! Hope felt her heart skip two beats at the sound of the voice. It didn't sound familiar but anything could happen and she just hoped it wasn't who she thought it was.
She decided not to reply and just held the phone to her ear ready to hang up in case.
"Good morning. Am I speaking with Miss HOPE?"
.....Silence...
"I'm calling from Griffin Corporations to inform you that you got the job miss"
She breathed out in relief as she let out a sigh she didn't know she was holding.
"Good morning. Yes this is Hope."
"You are to resume work next week at 8 o'clock. The boss doesn't tolerate lateness"
"Thank you very much"
"Have a good day"
Before she could even reply, the call was disconnected.
She decided not to get up and just lay in bed till her alarm rings considering the fact that her sleep was cut short.
She hoped things would get better. This job really was a Godsend.

"Done?"
"Yes sir"
"You may leave" Sebastian said to his PA Tony.
As Tony closed the door, Sebastian received a phone call from his housekeeper telling him that his mom had a little little accident.
"My mom?"
"Where is she? I thought I told you to take care of her "
."Yeah I don't care if she was being stubborn. Wait. Oh No. Just don't give me that excuse right now"
" I'll be at the hospital right away"
He hurriedly arranges some files and walks briskly out of the office while telling Tony he may not be back till the next day.
