Shirou Emiya, Counter Guardian of another world, is summoned into the Bleach universe. With his new powers, he watches over the battles between the Soul Society and the monstrous Hollows.
Hi, everyone! I hope you like this fan-fiction because I've found similarities between Shirou's powers and the powers of a zanpakuto. Here's what I've found. Zanpakutos are basically parts of Reality Marbles taken a physical singular forms. To put it simply, instead of switching the outside world with the inner world like a Reality Marble, a Zanpakuto attempts to just bring the whole inner world with the outer world. However, the two worlds cannot be together so the Zanpakuto can only take on a few aspects of the inner world.
For example, Shirou's Zanpakuto is called Mugen no Kensei (Infinite Creation of Swords). This Zanpakuto in its sealed form it is an orginary katana that none would look at twice.
Mugen no Kensei's Shikai form is a black blade with a white handle. It has a red pommel on the end. In this form, the blade can turn into any Shikai that Shirou sees. He can do anything the copied blade can do. However, Mugen no Kensei can only copy one blade at a time.
The Bankai form turns is Mumei no Kiseki Mugen no Kensei (Nameless Miracle Infinite Creation of Swords). The blade is a steely gray color and shines with a fiery red color. In this form, Mugen no Kensei basically has the same power it had in Shikai form but can also copy Bankai form. It has the same limitations as Shikai as well.
A secondary ability of Mugen no Kensei is that it acts in unison with Shirou's Unlimited Blade Works. This allows Shirou to sword spam the shit out of his opponents with Zanpakuto. He thrusts the sword into the ground of the Reality Marble. The sword then sinks down and instantly, swords appear, erupting from the earth. Shirou can use these just like any other of his blades.
The spirit of the sword is a gender ambiguous person who is wrapped in a cloak the same color as steel. The only thing that could be seen from it's true body is the gray eyes of the spirit. Its voice sounds masculine. When copying another Zanpakuto, the cloak falls and reveals the copied spirit. It controls the sword via a weak telekinesis, making it seem like it has invisible hands.

Another interesting fact about Zanpakutos is that before Shirou obtains his own Zanpakuto, he is unable to use the Zanpakutos that he copied.
Now Shirou himself is basically a total beast in the Bleachverse. He has immense spiritual pressure and knows how to use it. Because of his powers, he learns both his Shikai and his Bankai at impossibly fast rates and his magical prowess makes him adept at learning Kido. The only skill he learns at a regular rate would be the Flash Step skill, which I assure you, Yoruichi will tease him about it.
