She smiled and I knew I was in trouble.'

Dear Diary,

You know one of those days when you wake up early morning with a wide optimistic smile and do your chores with an extreme positive vibe? Those days where you just bask the early morning sun on your face with an amazing cup of latte in your hand? One of those days where you feel like a pretty princess in her beautiful pink gown, strolling around your palace garden, the birds and the rabbits surrounding you and your best friend right on your heel? In short words, a day when everything just happens perfectly and you feel blessed.

Yeah, I definitely didn't have one of those days. If anything I had the worst day possible. Even worse than the time, when I accidentally bled during swimming in the school pool and everyone in my school got to know that I got my periods before me.

I know what could be worse than that?

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is what happens when you celebrate the last day of your holiday before your semester starts, with alcohol. Ugh... I knew I shouldn't have listened to Sandy.

But what's done is done, no point crying over spilt milk right?

My first day at college started out perfectly ... bad.

"Holy cheese and crackers!"Jordie exclaimed.

She woke up with a start, clutching her head and groaned.

Damn that hangover!

She scrambled out of her bed and due to the pounding headache, she did not notice her best friend lying down on the floor sleeping like no care in the world when she accidently tripped and fell over her.

"Christ!" Jordie groaned, trying to get up and failing in the process.

All Sandy did was grunt, pushing her off and turned to the other side to sleep.

"Jeez! Sandy wake up!" Jordie shrieked, shaking and poking her best friend awake. "We are late!"

She did not even budge.

Jordie sighed in frustration and got up, walking over to the bathroom. She turned the tap on, filling the bucket with cold water.

There was only one way to wake up sleeping beauty and that was certainly not a kiss from prince charming.
