"Please... please... Edison... hang on! Please... please... don't leave me..." I cried as I quickly followed the stretcher, holding Edison's bloody hand, his favourite grey sweater was now covered in blood. Nurses were leading the stretcher while running. A nurse pulled me away from the stretcher before it went in the operation room, she only said, "Please wait outside, ma'am, we will try our best."
I leaned on the wall and I slowly sat on the ground. I cried, it was all my fault, yes, it was. If I didn't started all these mess, Edison won't be like this. My heart shivered. It was me.
After an hour, my mum and dad arrived and ran towards me, I stood up and wiped my tears.
My dad hugged me.
"How's Edison?" my dad asked, letting go.
"He's still in th operation room."
"Hermione! Why are you still with that Edison boy? I thought you two have divorced!" my mum snapped, crossing her arms.
"Hey, honey, calm down," my dad patted my mum by her back.
"You! Did you help her keep this secret?" Mum pointed her thin fingers towards my dad.
"No! I just knew!"
"Mum! It's not Dad's fault. It's mine. I should end this mess before, but there's some complication..." I mumbled.
"Like what?" my mum asked, before I could answer, there was a soft cry. It was Gisella, my daughter.
"Why she's here?" I asked, as I picked her up and hugged her.
"Gigi want to know where we were going, so we brought her here," my dad smiled.
"Where's Daddy?" Gisella asked. Her big eyes were filled with tears.
"Gisella," I kneel on the ground and put her down, "call him 'Uncle Edison', not Daddy."
"Why, Mommy?" she asked.
"Because... just call him what I told you."
"Okay, Mummy."
I smiled and patted her head.
Another hour had passed and my parents left and brought Gisella back home.
I wait, walking around the waiting room impatiently.
Just then, a nurse came and ask, "Are you one of Edison Chase's family member?" I quickly stood up and nodded.
"The doctor would like to see you."
