The Babysitter (_hayes grier fanfiction _)

I stare into my mothers eyes, they send belief into my heart. My mother could finally take a look at me,  the baby that was brewing in her stomach for the last 40 weeks. My mother is strong, no one can go through pregnancy alone, but she did. she lived for 10 months with a giant belly causing her wobble around our tiny house, pushing everything over, with only herself to help herself back up.  

"here is your baby Dianna, you did it" the nurse says to me.

I smile down at my baby girl, giving her a slight smile. she stares back at me with these bright blue eyes. the twinkle of light in her eyes sends a tear down my check. She is my only child and I am her only parent. "we'll stick up for each other now won't we" I whisper to her, not taking my eyes away from her.

"Do you have a name in mind, Dianna?" the nurse asks.

" her little blonde hairs and big blue eyes just make me think of the name daisy" I say.

"Daisy, how gorgeous. wonderful name Dianna" the nurse smiles at me.

All I do is smile at daisy and all she does is smile at me.

" we're perfect for each other daisy" I whisper as the nurse walks away.
