Race to Danger pt 2

Ray and Henry both used their extra day to train. Once they felt it was enough they both met on the start of the street around the corner.

"Ok, you're starting from here," Charlotte reminded them. "First one to make it to the finish line wins. On your mark, get set--" Charlotte was interrupted by the alarm coming from the store across the street.

"Hey, that alarm is coming from the Pear Store!" Ray pointed out. Henry sighed when the criminal ran out. "Oh god...it's Jeff."

"Aww man, but I really wanted to race you today!!" Ray complained, sighing. "Hey, I got an idea," Charlotte chimed in. They both gave her their full attention. "How about you guys have a race to Jeff, the first one to catch him wins!"

Ray and Henry then exchanged looks with each other. "Why not?" Henry shrugged. Ray smirked. "Alright kid, looks like we're going super hero on this race!" He pulled out his gum, and Henry did the same. They both made sure no one was looking before they transformed.

"Ok, now on your mark, get set, GO!!" Ray screamed, shoving Henry out of the way before racing ahead of him. "HEY! No fair! You can't push people!!" Henry screamed running after Ray who was already far ahead.

Ray looked back at his sidekick laughing, but Henry tripped him when he caught up to him. "Ha! Who's laughing now?!" Henry called out and ran after Jeff as he ran faster.

Ray scowled getting up. They were now both at the same speed. Jeff finally tripped and fell on the ground. They both grabbed him at the same time smiling.

"Ha! I caught him first!!" Henry cheered. Ray shook his head. "No, I clearly caught him first!! Right Charlotte?!"

Charlotte sighed rolling her eyes before walking away. "I'm gonna say....it was a tie," Jeff said before passing out.

"Jeff seems tired..." Henry commented. "Whatever. Hey, wanna order some wontons?" Ray shrugged. "Yeah, let's go!" Henry responded excitedly. They both then left leaving Jeff unconscious on the ground for the cops to drag him away while they got their wontons, the end.
