Saving Henry pt 1

Henry Danger One Shot-

A/N: hey guys so in this one shot Henry stops being friends with Jasper and you'll have to read the rest to find out what happens next! Enjoy!!! :)

CHAPTER 1- Henry's POV:
I went over to meet Jasper at his locker to see if he could hang out tonight, since my parents would be out and my little sister Piper is sleeping over her friends house, so I'm gonna be bored.

"Hey Jasp. How about another guys night out tonight huh?" I smile as he closes his locker. "Oh hey Hen," he says then suddenly frowns. "Uh, I....can't actually tonight." He said, which was unusual.

Jasper was almost always usually free. Something was up. "Oh? Why not?" I ask. He looked away for a second. "I'm just....busy tonight. Sorry Henry," he shrugged shutting his locker and made his way to class. That was weird. Busy doing what?

Maybe Charlotte could hangout. I tried her, but she said the same exact thing Jasper had said in the same exact tone he used. What was going on? Were they planning something behind my back? "Charlotte?" I question just before she walks away.

She stopped and turned around. "What's going on? Are you and Jasper planning something without me?" I say, feeling a bit hurt if this were the truth. "What?! No! Of course not! I'm just busy tonight, that's all! My uncle is coming into town and we're gonna go out to dinner with him and my family," Charlotte said, rolling her eyes.

Alright, she sounds kind of legit. She really does find her uncle annoying, so I guess she's maybe telling the truth. "Ok...." I say, staring at her suspiciously as I walk away.

But something was definitely going on. And I found out what it was when I looked on my snapchat.

"Whoa, WHAT?!" I stare wide eyed at the video I'm seeing standing up in shock. "What?" Ray asked curiously, walking over to me on the couch. "I.....I can't believe this!" I sigh a sad sigh, sitting back down. "What's wrong kid? I can't help you if you don't tell me...." Ray said sitting next to me.

I shook my head looking down upset. "Jasper....had his birthday party and didn't even invite me. But he invited CHARLOTTE, PIPER?! AND MITCH! WHAT?! Why is he hanging out with MITCH BILSKEY?!" I scream, holding back tears so I don't embarrass myself in front of Ray. "So THAT's why they were all "busy" tonight," I sigh, air quoting the word busy.

"Wait, I'm confused," Ray said. "I thought you and Jasper were like, best friends?" I looked at him. "Yeah, WERE. I just can't believe he would do this to me. Why? I did nothing that would make him upset with me, right?" I looked at Ray, starting to cry now.

"Hey, it's ok," he said. "It's just...some friends grow apart sometimes. I know what it's like to lose a best friend, but you get over it eventually." I stare at him in shock, wiping my eyes. "You lost a best friend?"

"Yeah, but now I made a new best friend," he smiled. "You did? Who?" I asked. "Well, he's about 14 years old, he's my awesome sidekick Kid Danger...." I smiled a bit when he nudged my arm. "Yeah, you're my best friend too Ray," I smile back, then frown again.

"But...Jasper and I have been best friends since we were 5, I mean we did literally everything together. I taught him everything he knows now, and he even taught me some stuff. Like how to be a good friend, and what TRUE friends do." I sigh again. "I get it kid, why don't you try talking to him tomorrow in school and ask him why he didn't invite you? He will probably feel bad and come back to you."

I look up at Ray. "You really think it'll work? But, why are you doing this for me? I thought you hated Jasper."
"Well, I do," he admitted looking away. "But I hate to see my sidekick upset, and I don't want him to lose his friends. Alright? So tomorrow after you talked to him tell me how it goes. and if he still doesn't, Captain Man will teach him a lesson ok?" Ray smirked when I laughed a little and nodded.

{The next day}
"So, Jasper! How was your party last night?" I ask, adding a fake smile but my tone was also a bit annoyed. Jasper smiled back. "Oh, it was awesome! Charlotte threw a pie at my face!" About half the class laughed and Charlotte smirked rolling her eyes.

I kept my fake smile. "Oh yeah! And Captain Man came again!" Suddenly I frowned. RAY snuck out after I left to go to Jasper's party?! "Oh...." I say, looking down. "Well, what about Kid Danger? Did you invite HIM too? Or are you TOO COOL to hangout with him anymore?!" Jasper looked away.

"Well....Captain Man said he was busy, and couldn't come." I crossed my arms narrowing my eyes. "Busy huh? Well what about your best friend? Was your "best friend" at the party with you?" I put air quotations around best friend. He only smiled.

"Yeah, Charlotte was there! She made it awesome!" I stare jaw dropped. He called just Charlotte his best friend! "Well, what about your best GUY friend?! The one who's always been there for you since we were little! The one who always stood up for you against bullies and got beat up for you! The one who tells you all his secrets that he only trusts you with?!"

I think Jasper got who I meant, he frowned. "I'm sorry Henry, we're just...not friends anymore. You're always busy with your new job and how could you call someone you hardly ever hangout with anymore your best friend? I've just moved on." He shrugged and began to walk out followed by everyone else except Charlotte.

I felt my heart literally shatter into a million pieces. "Jasper. Please....if there's anything I can do to make you want to be friends again," I mumble with tears, but he was already gone. Charlotte had said nothing, I looked down and left.
