Chapter 8♡

"Zoe I need to talk to you." I sighed and sat on the sofa.

We had gotten home about 4 hours ago.

"Yes darling?" Zoe asked, concearned.

"Right so, you know that day when everyone came here?" She nodded so I can carried on, "Well you saw when Logan kissed my cheek and then he keeps calling me princess and being really cute like that." I sat crossed legged facing Zoe.

She was listening to every word I was saying. "Then Paige told me yesterday that he told Josh and Jack he likes me."

"What's wrong with that? You like him too don't you? Zoe asked.

"Yeah, I like him too but I've only known him seven days. Isn't that too early to know if I like him?"

"T, if you get on as well as you and Logan do, it's never too early. If you didn't know anything about him, then I'd say wait a bit. But because you know everything about each other, it's alright." Zoe said confidently.

"Thanks Zoe, you're the best mum." I smiled and hugged her.

"It's okay T, invite him over on Tuesday." Zoe said whilst stroking my hair.

"Love you!" I said and got up.

"Love you too!" Zoe said back.

I ran upstairs to my room and picked up my phone.

Zoe's p.o.v

"Thanks Zoe, you're the best mum."

Those words keep replaying in my head. She said I was the best mum. I didn't think I'd ever hear those words. Not after me and Alf found out we couldn't have kids. Ever since I was little, I've always wanted to be a mum. My dreams were shattered when we found out. Then, we adopted Tia and I was happy again. Now she has said I'm the best, I'm the happiest I'll ever be.

She ran upstairs to her bedroom and I walked into the kitchen. I kissed Alfie.

"She said I was the best mum." I cried.

"Zoe! That's amazing!" Alfie said and put his arms around me as I cried happy tears into his chest.
