Chapter 2: Hanging with Shadow

Sonic's POV

After the day was over with Amy, I bumbed into someone who I thought that I would never see again. 'Shadow' I thought. I have always had a crush on him ever since my mom adopted him. I never looked up to him as a Big Brother. I've always looked up to him as a Lover. I've even tried to give him hints that I love him more than a Brother. I didn't notice that he was waving his hand in my face until now. I started blushing from embarrassment.

Shadow: Sonic?
Sonic: Shadow?

Shadow stared at me before hugging the daylights out of me. I couldn't breath and was surprised that he got stronger over the years that he was gone. I tapped on his shoulder. He released from the hug but had his arms still around me. I finally took a deep breath before saying "Hey Shadow." He looked at me before saying "Hey Sonic." He looked surprised and started looking at me up and down. I thought that he was checking me out but he was just looking at me. He said to me "Damn Sonic how many years have I been gone?" He said teasingly. I started chuckling before telling him " Hey Shadow, you want to hang out and catch up with each other?" I asked him. He looked at me. He said "Sure."

Shadow's POV

"Hey Shadow, you want to hang out and catch up with each other?" He asked me. I looked at him and thought 'Hmm... Maybe I can meet his friends (if he has any).' I just answered "Sure." And after that he started running somewhere until he came back. "Are you coming?" He asked me. I realized he was in front of me and said "Yeah, I'm coming." We ran to his house and play some games. The games we played were Call Of Duty: Zombies, Left 4 Dead, etc.. Sonic knocked out on his bed in the middle of a movie. We were on his bed. His chao was eating the night away while I was up side down (Picture above).

I decided to be nice and put him in the right position in the bed while trying not to wake him up. He woke up after I took my arms off of him. "Shadz?" He said. Gosh I hate that nickname. "Yes?" I answered harshly. He had a scared but tired look on his face. "Do you want to sleep over with me? I can take either the floor or the couch, while you take my bed." He said. I didn't want to be mean but I told him, "How about we both take the bed?" I answered while smirking. I have always loved him but I try to hide it. This is my chance to tell him how I really feel.

Sonic's POV

"How about we both take the bed?" He answered while smirking at me. Gosh I have always love how he smirks. To me, his smirk is Sexy. I started blushing at a naughty thought of us in the bed, but I pushed that thought to the side. I answered him an 'OK' before brushing my teeth. I was getting myself comfortable on my bed. Shadow had changed into different clothes borrowed from me with permission. I snuggled my head into his chest fur. He tensed a little but relaxed. Our heart beat and some breathing is the only thing that we both hear. I started to fall asleep by the sound of his heart beat.

Next morning I woke up to the shower running. I thought that Shadow had taken a shower but I smelled pancakes. I started to get worried but then realized that my 2 little siblings Manic and Sonia were in the house. Did I ever mention that my Sibling were in my house to Shadow? I figured no I haven't. I went to the restroom and knocked on the door. "Yes?" a Womanly voice said in the restroom. I knew that voice, it was Sonia's voice. "Nevermind" I said to Sonia. I went downstairs and checked up on Shadow. He was making Eggs and Bacon with Pancakes. He looked up at me before placing the plates down neatly on the table. He walked over to me and said in his morning voice, "Are you going to eat or just stay there?" I quickly realized what I was doing, sat down at the table and started eating. Soon my brother and my sister came into the kitchen. "Hey bros!!" They both said in unison. Manic looked at me and said something to me ear and I nodded as my response. Shadow and Sonia were confused at what we were talking about. I motioned Shadow to come and follow me into my room to have a little talk. Once we were in my room I started telling him "Do you want to meet my friends?" I asked him. He nodded his head for a response. I smiled and said "Well we better get ready. I'll call them and tell them that I have exciting news for them While you stay hidden in my closet in my room. And make sure to use your Chaos Emerald to teleport into the bathroom downstairs. While everyone is paying their attention to me you will secretly and silently walk close to them and cover who ever is in front of you. Got it?" I said to him. He was surprised and impressed that I had finally came up with a plan for once. He started getting ready and hid in the closet. I started telling everyone that G.U.N. had caught me and only gave me one phone call to each person that I've ever known and they bought it. No sooner or later I hear a loud bang on my door. I went to go and see who was at the door.
