i didn't die.
not today, at least.
as i hit the freezing water, it felt like i was being stabbed to death. but i didn't drown, someone had seen me.
i was in the process of sinking, when there was a sudden grasp on both my arms.
i was unconscious, for a while.
then i woke up, the morning after in an emergency room. i was alone.
i failed, yet again. and i hated myself more because of it.
