okay.. so i realised that i missed a major chunk of this story in January and whenever I started writing this part something or other used to happen and I wasnt able to continue... so finally all the missing pieces are covered and sorry for all the trouble readers... and last but not the least...

Falling back in Place

Abhi stopped the car in front of the hospital and Manik hurriedly ran inside the hospital screaming doctors name and the staff ran to help him. Within few minutes Nandini was taken into the ICU and treatment started. They were cleaning the wound on her arm and the nurses were running from here to there to get the required things.

Manik was watching all this standing outside ICU and tears were continuously rolling down his cheeks. Abhi came and placed his hand on Manik's shoulder and that was it for Manik he hugged Abhi tightly and started crying like a baby.

"Manik.. sab theek ho jayega.. please calm down.. you need to be strong for her.. please Manik..." and wiped his tears and Manik was staring blankly at Abhi and Abhi continued

"Navya ko bhi admit kiya hai.." and Manik's eyes again filled with tears Manik spoke in a hardly audible tone

"kahan hai Navya..?" and the same time Dhruv came and said

"Navya fainted because of her low blood preassure and shock they gave her glucose and she is resting..but still she is not conscious... nandu kaisi hai..?" Dhruv too spoke in a low tone as for him Nandini was like his small sister and he used to treat her like one and looked at Manik for some response.

Manik got up lifelessly and started walking in the corridor.

"Navya kae paas lake jao.. he might feel better seeing her alright atleast.." Dhruv said looking at Manik and Abhi nodded his head in a yes and ran towards Manik and held his hand and dragged him to the room where Navya was there.

Manik took small steps towards her and saw Cabir already sitting there holding Navya's hand in his and crying. Manik went and kept his hand on Cabir's shoulder and Cabir looked up at Manik and asked

"Nandu kaisi hai.." to which Manik nodded in a no and Cabir continued

"tu idhar beth Navya kae paas.. mai Nandu ko dekh kae aata hun.." and went out making Manik sit in the chair beside Navya's bed.

Manik looked at Navya, her face was pale and there were red marks on her cheeks and the corner of her lips. There were impressions of the ropes on her handswith which she was tied . He slowly lifted his hand to touch her wounds on her hands and gently stroked her hands with total care and love. The girl who was his princess, the apple of his eye, his whole world... to whom he would never say no.. who used to get everything done on her one word.. was lying on the bed in front of him.. these thoughts made Manik's eyes fill with endless tears.

He remembered how much he pampered her and now in which condition she was lying. He slowly got up and gave a light kiss on her forehead and sat on the chair again and stared at her face blankly.

"doctor Nandini kaisi hai..?" Cabir asked the doctor as he came out from the ICU.

"Cabir.. I will not lie... Nandini's condition is very critical.. she has lost lots of blood.. if she doesn't gain senses in the next 8 hours.. she might slip into coma.." the doctor said and went inside the ICU.
