What do you want to pursue as your career?

For the longest time, this question plagued me to no end because there was so much I wanted to do all at once. But as I was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, and gained certain exposure as a result of learning Japanese, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d like to get into editing and publishing. Hopefully, I can have a magazine of my own someday! ^-^

When and how did you get into BTS?

A friend of mine randomly sent a link of Blood, Sweat and Tears one fine October night last year. The first thing that struck me was how synchronized they all were! And they sang so well too. But it was Baepsae which got me into the fandom and not BST. Their goofiness during the dance practice was irresistible!

What would have happened if we met long back when you were still in my school and would have met now?

I would be so elated! I had the best experience in OOEHS and made so many great friends. And I’m sure you would’ve been one of them then. But you are now anyway, so it’s great! But yes, it would’ve been awesome if we could have met then.

Do you watch Korean dramas?

Yes! I live and breathe them. So much that I can’t even go a minute without thinking about whichever drama I’m currently watching!

How long do I have to wait to read a Namjin fanfic written by you?

Namjin is my favorite! I adore Namjoon and Jin so much and I would love to write a fanfic about them. And I will for sure, as soon as a good plot pops into my head!

How old are you and do you have siblings?

I’m twenty. And yes, I have a younger brother who is very similar to your portrayal of Ismael!

What are your other talents, if you have any?

Apart from writing, I like to think that I’m a good orator. I also have a penchant for freestyle rapping at times!

What was the most inspiring moment in your life?

I remember there was this one time when the principal of my previous school talked about life and the role mistakes play in it. I can’t say if it was the most inspiring moment (because I have many) but it was certainly a moment which has made a deep impression on me. It taught me that it is okay to make mistakes, and that sometimes, life requires you to make mistakes just so you can learn from them.

Kim Namjoon, the one and only!

When did you start writing?

I used to pen incoherent thoughts ever since I was little, but I wrote a full- fledged novella at the age of 12.

Do you plan to be published in the future?

Yes! I would love to make that happen!

I’m very curious, why is your username Enriha? Is that your real name too?

As much as I wish it was, it isn’t. There’s this anime I used to watch called ‘Kaze no Stigma’ (Trans: Stigma of the Wind). Enriha was the name of the sacred sword wielded by one of the protagonists and since then, the name stuck!

If you were stranded in the middle of nowhere with one BTS member, who would you like it to be and why?

Ooh that’s a tough one indeed. But I would choose Namjoon always, because he gives me life and inspiration. We could rap our way out of any dilemma!

What was the inspiration for your story? Was it Taehyung or a BTS video?

The answer to this question is a little interesting. So one night, in the midst of writing the final few chapters of my Namjoon fanfic, I had these lines which suddenly materialized in my head as I was trying to fall asleep; the prologue of the story.

At first, I didn’t know which member it would be and I sent the lines to my ARMY friends for their opinion, asking them which member they suited the most. Taehyung won the most votes (he was my pick too), with Yoongi and Jin coming in second and third.

I love the fantasy angle of the story- how and why did you decide to blend the genres together?

I’d always wanted to write a fantasy story. At first, this was going to be a simple story without the fantasy factor but then I decided to include it and Sarah J Mass is the reason! I was reading ACOWAR when I first began outlining ideas and that’s how the plot for TS was born!

When did you discover Kpop and how?

Contrary to what many people know, my first Kpop band wasn’t BTS but KARA. ‘Honey’ had been playing on Animax, a channel for anime, but I wasn’t into any fandoms back then. It was just a song I had listened to which had caught my attention. It was BTS which pulled me into Kpop and now I’m here to stay!

Favorite food?

So many to pick from! But donuts are my absolute favorites.

Do you watch anime?

I do! I love watching anime and the genres vary. I can watch anything from mystery to fantasy to horror to straight up romcoms!

What got you into writing?

I can’t really pinpoint a particular factor. It’s something I’ve been doing ever since I was a prepubescent kid!

Ultimate BTS ship?

Namjin!

I do. Personally, I adore each of the relationships’ between the members but Namjin is my favorite!

If I write a BTS one shot series, will you have a request? If yes, then what?

Maybe one where Namjoon invites me to write the lyrics to the next Cypher but uses that as an excuse to ask me out!
