Cassie's *POV*

"You are a fucking dick head Dan Smith!" I yell at him, our faces inches apart. Dan just stands there silently, his face unreadable, expressionless as I yell at him. I take a step back as I feel tears run down my face. Finally, just as I was hoping, Dan snaps.

Tears rush down his cheeks. It is so hard to watch him cry. It always was and it still will be. He cups his face in his hands as he slides down the wall he was standing against. As he sits on the floor, bawling, I noticed that Alice has left. She probably went to find the others.

I walk up to Dan and kneel in front of him, "Come here, loser..." I say through the tears. Dan looks up and bounces into my open arms.

"I am so, so, so sorry, Cass. I am an asshole...I'm sorry." We cry into each other's shoulders for what seems like forever before we split apart and stand up. After I wipe his tears, I finally get a good look at him. My heart pounds in my chest and then suddenly starts burning and developing a stabbing sensation.

"Uh hello?" I hear him ask. I snap back into reality as I see he is standing in front of me with a worried look on his face, "Let's go backstage. Everyone is going to be here soon and right now I don't want to be surrounded in a sea of fans and I don't think you would like to either." I nod and he guides me to the back, an arm around my shoulders.

We open the backstage door to see the loving faces we know. A man with a moustache screams in excitement and runs up to me, embracing me in a tight hug.

"Uh well...hi to you too?" The man lets go, still gripping my shoulders.

"Bloody hell. Do you seriously not remember me?" I raise an eyebrow.

"No." I shake my head and look at him as if he were crazy.

"It's me...Kyle. And the one with the beard is Will and you know the long haired maniac is Woody." My eyes grow and I feel a smile appear on my lips.

"Oh my god..." I hug Kyle once again then walk up to hug the others, "You all look so different...I can't believe it..."

"And you've gotten...taller?" William says then starts laughing to himself. I roll my eyes at him then notice Dan standing alone in the corner. He almost looks...scared.

I walk over to him, shoving my hands into the pockets of my jeans, "Hey, Dan." I whisper as I raise an eyebrow and cock my head to the side. He looks up at me then down at the ground.

"Hey, Cass." I take Dan into my arms. He wraps his arms around me. His warm embrace forces my heart to literally pound out of my chest, but then I feel awkward, because...Dan isn't feeling the same.

"What's wrong?" I ask him, softly. He shakes his head.

"Nothing..."

"Don't you dare lie to me, Daniel."

Dan lets go of me and stares me in the eyes, "Cassie. I cannot tell you." He then pushes me away, jumps off the stage, and walks through the doors into a screaming crowd of fans.

A sigh escapes my lips as I watch the screaming fans suck him in. I decide to walk and sit on the edge of the stage, looking at the empty seats, and letting time pass by.

My sister screams by my side as we stand watching Dan, Kyle, Will, and Chris perform in front of us. I watch silently, not amused. Suddenly, everything around me slows down. Dan stops in the middle of singing "The Draw" when he stops. Completely. Dan looks at the crowd, scared. He drops his mic, mouth parted slightly, eyes wide.

I watch him run off stage into the back. My breathing gets heavy as I tell myself to run through the crowd to him. I jump onto to the stage, following his steps.

"Dan!" I yell after him, watching him look back at me then push past the guards and out the exit. I follow him out into the frost bitten night. Dan stands stiff, terrified.

"Dan..." I whisper and walk towards him. He turns to me, speechless, but then starts to cry.

Short chapter. I will update soon.
