This is my first story story. I would always like to know your opinion. And I won't really talk about the death of Lacey's mom until later in the story.
Hi, my name is Lacey Williams and I'm 18. I live with my dad and my horrible step-mom and her kids. When ever my dad is not around, they abuse me. They have been doing this since I was 12 and it has been six years. Since this is my senior year of high school, I have one more year until I get to leave this terrible home.
I go to East High School (I don't if that is real). I have only one friend, Sam. I'm the loner of the school. At school I try not to be seen, but my step- brother and sister make that hard. People tease me most of the time, but that is where Sam comes in. She stands up for me. Seeing as this is my senior year, I want to change. I want start standing up for myself. New Year. New Me.
